And this is what I dislike about projects like this, sometimes s*it happens and you end up making more work for yourself. I was going to post all those days, but really? I don't feel like it.
Sunday was a horrible day. I spent it in the emergency room with my Mom. There's nothing worse than seeing your Mom or Dad in physical pain. All I could do is remain calm and be logical with her.
"I'm dying.."
"No, you're not dying."
"Do you think it's cancer?"
"No Ma'...you have a kidney stone...look, I'm on this google MD site, see."
I show her my phone but she just turns her head and bats me away. She finds it annoying when I'm right :)
*nurse comes in with some grooovy pain meds*
"Are you still in pain Mrs. Polanco?"
She thinks a minute...shrugs her shoulders a little and nods "yes"
"Ok, now you're going to feel this one ok?"
*nurse leaves, mom leans back*
"Am I dying??"
"No Ma'...it's the pain meds."
"Oh.....I don't like it..... I feel like.... I'm floating."
"I know Ma, it's the meds...are you still in pain?"
"Yes....but I don't care so much..."
"...Just go to sleep Ma."
"No, I'll never wake up."
"You're being silly...you're supposed to sleep so you can heal, recouperate.
*nurse comes back in*
"I'm not gonna die if I go to sleep am I?"
She's a silly one, isn't she?
Glad to say it all came out good in the end, no pun intended. She passed the stone in the hospital and learned a very important lesson about the importance of proper hydration.
That day left me feeling exhausted and I had full day of work on Monday. The last thing I felt like doing was being on line, so I hit the sack early and yesterday....well yesterday, I just felt like it was my only day off. I just felt like I needed to shut down and just be. Be lazy, take a nap with kitty, enjoy the boys, and chill with my Man.

Today I still have work/ clients to do, some cleaning up to catch up on, some grocery shopping, meal planning and dog walking. (And then depending on how Scott comes home tonight from clinical, he may need some physical therapy to help with soreness from an injury earlier this week.) I will drop in on your streams later on tonight folks. I miss seeing all your amazing work.

Also, I'm trying to start drink tea more. I don't drink coffee, so instead I'm trying to acquire a taste for something healthier...without adding multiple scoops of sugar
Week 32 / 52 is "framed". I call this one The View From Above". It's a view that you very seldom get a chance to see. It's a 3 frame HDR shot in the projection booth of the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Vancouver. The blue lighting is from a single led above the spotlight & the stage lighting is tungsten balanced ambient. The frame was courtesy of Photoshop CC.

Heute musste ich zu einen Seminar, direkt nach der Entlassungs aus dem KH. Wärend einer der Pausen ist dieses Bild entstanden. Den Rest des Tages habe ich dann etwas entspannen können. Meine "Arbeit" hier werde ich dann morgen wieder aufnehmen.

Fury has been wearing diapers because she went into heat and to my surprise she never tries to take them off.
I couldn't stop laughing for the first 2 days because she walks around all proud of having underpants lol
Seen at Hong Kong's Chek Lap Kok Airport as part of the Ngong Ping sightseeing tour is Hong Kong Citybus Transbus Enviro 500 open-topper bodied Transbus Trident 32 - RL6869.
This stream of stars embedded in cosmic clouds is part of Caldwell 32, also cataloged as NGC 4631 and commonly called the Whale galaxy. Our edge-on view of this galaxy masks the spiral arms that extend outward into space, each overflowing with sparkling stars. The “belly” of the whale (on the left side of the image) is the galactic center, which is lit up by stars bursting into life along with gas that has been heated from supernova explosions. This bright light silhouettes bands of dense, darker material that lie between us and the Whale galaxy’s bright core.
In the Whale galaxy’s “tail” (on the right side of the image) there is less dust but still areas of bright blue star formation, driven by interactions with neighboring galaxies. As gas and dust from different galaxies meet in space, denser areas are created, which gravity compacts into new stars. This Hubble image, taken with the Advanced Camera for Surveys, shows an area that is about 140,000 light-years across. Hubble’s observations provide the opportunity to explore this galaxy in visible and near-infrared light, which, combined with X-ray observations from other telescopes, allow scientists to develop a more complete picture of ongoing galactic processes.
Similar in size to the Milky Way, the Whale galaxy is a located about 25 million light-years away in the Canes Venatici constellation. It is one of the many Caldwell objects discovered by astronomer William Herschel. It has a magnitude of 9.2, requiring large binoculars or a telescope to see it. As one of the brighter Caldwell galaxies, it is a favorite among observers. Late spring skies in the Northern Hemisphere (or autumn in the Southern Hemisphere) will provide an optimal view of the Whale galaxy.
