About time for my inner old lady to have her moment.
Sometimes I cannot wait to get to that point in my life, where I don't have to work full time in order to support myself... and my days instead, are spent doing what I love the most, creating... and falling asleep in comfy quilts!
I'm lucky though, at least where I work, I am surrounded by beautiful fabrics, quilts, and inspiration!
p.s 30 days already, really? Wow, feels like I just started yesterday!

Estoy más satisfecha con esta foto que con todas las anteriores. Para mí ha sido más difícil hacer este retrato hoy qué todas las demás. Os preguntareis por qué si solo es sacarle una foto. Cuando salgo a la calle a fotografiar soy la persona más timida... Normalmente cuando fotografio a personas en la calle primero hago la foto y luego si tengo ocasión les pregunto si les molesta que se la haya hecho. A veces por vergüenza directamente no disparaba. Qué pasaba, que me frustraba porque creía que había perdido una buena foto. Hoy ha sido diferente. He estado charlando unos minutos con él y le he preguntado si le podía fotografiar a lo que me ha contestado que sí, que no había problema. Este es el resultado.

In July 2011 San Jose Fire Department responded to a 2 alarm fire in a residence on W San Carlos St. The fire started in the basement and spread to the ground fllor. Firefighters faught a good battle to keep the fire contained to the building of origin.

I enjoyed watching the chef prepare these fruit ka-bobs with chocolate drizzled over them. This was at a Godiva Chocolate store in Las Vegas. I’m such a choco-holic!

Ici, au 30, rue Galilée, cet immeuble d'inspiration néo-Renaissance a été construit par Paul Sédille en 1895.
Les deux belles cariatides encadrant la porte d'entrée sont d'André-Joseph Allar.
Au dessus de cette porte, une curieuse inscription gravée dans la pierre, encadrée par deux lions, indique: "Lasse des vains espoirs et des bruits de la Terre, heureuse d'oublier, l'une a fermé les yeux...à son premier matin sans effroi du mystère. L'autre aspire à la vie en souriant aux cieux".

Picked up my car today. The transmission guy decided not to charge me anything, except for the towing. He appreciates the work I do. I guess I might be sticking to this job a little longer after all. Nice to know there are still some honest people in the world :)

This is the southern-most watch tower built along the Delaware beaches during World War II, in Fenwick Island State Park. Built as part of the Coastal Defense System, these towers stretch from Fenwick through Rehobeth Beach to guard against German U-Boats that may target the Delaware River and the U.S. Naval Shipyard at Philadelphia and the Dupont chemical plants at Wilmington.
