Had to convert to b&w; the pool table has seen better days and the felt is faded. The balls are quite timeworn and yellowed, so none of my post-processing tricks would make them look better. Lighting is natural window light. Added the angle for interestingness (flickr says that's a word :-p )

MEDITATION
“What is God's intention for our state in life, whether married or single? Jesus deals with the issue of divorce by taking his hearers back to the beginning of creation and to God's plan for the human race. In Genesis 2:23-24 we see God's intention and ideal that two people who marry should become so indissolubly one that they are one flesh. That ideal is found in the unbreakable union of Adam and Eve. They were created for each other and for no one else. They are the pattern and symbol for all who were to come.
“Jesus explains that Moses permitted divorce as a concession in view of a lost ideal. Jesus sets the high ideal of the married state before those who are willing to accept his commands. Jesus, likewise sets the high ideal for those who freely renounce marriage for the sake of the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 19:11-12). Both marriage and celibacy are calls from God to live a consecrated life, that is to live as married couples or as singles who belong not to themselves but to God.
“Our lives are not our own – they belong to God (1 Corinthians 6:19b,20; Romans 14:7-8).
“The Lord Jesus through the gift of the Holy Spirit gives the grace and the power to those who seek to follow his way of holiness in their state of life. His grace and power bring freedom, discipline, and strength to live a life of love, joy, and holiness.

PRAYER
"Lord Jesus Christ, Your call to holiness extends to all in every state of life. Sanctify our lives – as married couples and as singles – that we may live as men and women who are consecrated to You. Make us leaven in a society that disdains life-long marriage fidelity, chastity, and living single for the Lord".

stare at the pic- slightly defocus and cross your eyes when an image forms in the middle try to relax your eyes to stabilise the 3-D image. If you can visualise this one try the larger size.
The 3D image really does put the pollen anthers in their place.

¡Vaya historia la nuestra! Nos conocimos un verano y nos volvimos locos, locos de amor... des de entonces mi estación del año preferida es la época del sol y la playa. Aun no entiendo porque te tuviste que ir tan lejos... yo te amaba, tú me amabas, eramos dos locos enamorados viviendo en un mundo que nosotros habíamos hecho rosa, pero tú hiciste que se decolorara el mundo que habíamos creado. ¿Recuerdas ese día? Nuestra última despedida... Llevábamos mucho tiempo despidiéndonos en estaciones, la de mi pueblo, la del tuyo, la de Plaza Catalunya, llegábamos a la estación y nos quedábamos abrazados, nos besábamos, nos echábamos de menos aun juntos. Y se escuchaba el pitido, ese maldito ruido que he odiado tanto todo este tiempo, el tren se acercaba y cuanto mas se acercaba, mas lejos estabas tú. Pero ese día... ese día todo era distinto, ni siquiera pude escuchar el sonido del tren, ni a la gente, ni siquiera podía escucharte a ti, solo escuchaba el latido rápido de mi corazón... Era nuestra ultima despedida y lo sabíamos, ya no habían besos, ni siquiera abrazos, pero aun así seguía sintiéndose la añoranza en el ambiente, no sé si era cosa de la estación o de nosotros, pero estaba allí...
Te he echado mucho de menos durante este tiempo y seguiré haciéndolo... muero por volver a verte, volver a reír contigo, volver a tener una de esas despedidas que tanto odiaba antes y que ahora entiendo que sin ellas nada hubiese funcionado, porque esas despedidas eran las que nos hacían volver a vernos...

#3 BLEACHING
This is the first time i'm doing this on a #3 (I had done it on #4s with success) . I knew many restorers think it isn't good to try chemicals on a #3 but the owner agreed she didn't like the doll like this. She had darkened a lot, this was caused by smoke (either cigarette or a fire place). I wasn't sure of the results at all (actually I thought I would just improve a bit her condition, and both the owner and I were aware the bleaching process may ruin the doll ...). Finally she turned out pretty good, her face and body are not completely even but she looks like a #3 again. Original paint was damaged during the bleaching process but a lot of it remained.

I basically decided to scrap my plans and show you a little insight into my mind today. Here it is.

“LA COPA “ 3 ANIVERSARIO MUGRE KREW (con causa)
En esta ocasión mugre krew busca ser la diferencia y se une a una causa la cual es la recolecta de juguetes ,viveres y ropa y ser donados para la gente de la sierra de guerrero ya que creemos y esta en nuestras manos dar y no solo recibir .
Y por otro lado desde su inicio mugre krew a buscado aportar ideas al movimiento urbano es por esto que nos atrevemos a crear nuevas propuestas , como es el caso de la”LA COPA MUGRE KREW “ con lo que buscamos unificar y renovar el movimiento para formar un show de entretenimiento donde la dinámica se basa en algo parecido a un torneo de futbol .
Pero siempre consientes de que no podemos hacerlo solos es por esto que los convocamos y los motivamos a unirse a estas 2 causas .
CONVOCATORIA
BASES :
Podrán participar todos los artistas en general sin importar, sexo, edad y nacionalidad.
Tendrán que formar una selección que será por estado, para esto mandaran 2 de sus mejores trabajos individualmente en un correo a mugrekrew@hotmail.com con el titulo copa mugrekrew y el nombre de tu estado, con una resolución minima de 300 mpx con un formato jpg .
Ejemplo: copa mugrekrew_df.
La recepción de correos será hasta el 22 de octubre de 2010.
Las selecciones las formaran los jueces invitados y se regresara un correo de aceptación si es que fuiste seleccionado para representar a tu estado , el dia 20 de octubre de 2010.
A partir del 25 de octubre de 2010 subiremos como quedaron los nombres de los integrantes de cada selección .
Aquí comenzara lo difícil del trabajo, q es trabajar en equipo y con gente que quizás no esté en tu colectivo o crew
Juntos tendrán que representar un proyecto artístico con el tema ¡Y TU ¡ ¿CON QUIEN JUGABAS DE NIÑO?
El proyecto será enviado antes del 8 de noviembre al correo mugrekrew@hotmail.com con el titulo “proyecto copa”. Antes del 8 de noviembre del 2010.
Dicho proyecto podrá ser realizado con diferentes técnicas artísticas como lo son : aerosol,escultura ,pintura, stencil, instalación ,etc . tendrán q ser elaborados en un stand artístico con un area de 5m de largo x 2.44m alto.
Tendrán 2 dias para realizar dicho proyecto los días 25 y 26 de noviembre del 2010.
Tanto el material como la herramienta tendrá que ser cubierto por los participantes.
Tendrán que diseñar una bandera de 80 cm x 50cm (en tela y hecha a mano) que se expondrá el día del evento.
El diseño de la bandera será enviado a mugrekrew@hotmail.com con el titulo bandera _estado ejemplo (bandera_df) con una resolución de 300 mpx. Formato jpg antes del 15 de noviembre 2010 , este diseño será impreso para identificar su stand artístico asignado.

Solo habrá un 1er. Lugar
Escultura denominada “LA COPA MUGRE KREW” 40cm de alto x un radio de 25cm (HECHA POR MUGRE KREW)
