The photos in this gallery were taken at the 2nd Annual Live Out Loud Charity (LOLC) fashion show. The sold-out event helped raise funds for suicide prevention and anti-bullying. A number of local and national fashion designers showcased their collections at Louisville’s Crown Plaza Hotel.
Hosted by event founder, Sherrie Gearheart, the event also featured performances by vocal performances by Dylan Maynard, Kathy Navigato and Atlanta based singer/songwriter Jason London.

The Byron Hotsprings, a destination once so popular there was a train station just for the place. When rail transporation ended, the hotsprings fell into ruin. This was once a mysterious Camp Tracy during World War II, now it is a wreck.

MADRID, SPAIN - OCTOBER 06: Appearance of several elements that are part of the main altar in commemoration of the Day of the Dead celebrated in Mexico on the 1st and 2nd of each month of November, which this year is dedicated to 30 women who have made history in the Aztec country, can be seen on Friday, October 6, 2023, at the Casa de Mexico Foundation in Spain, in Madrid (Spain). On June 7, 2003, the traditional celebration of the Day of the Dead in Mexico was declared Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. This tradition, which dates back to pre-Hispanic times, when ancient settlers thought that death was just the beginning of the journey to Mictlan, where the dead met the god Mictlatecuhtli and the goddess Mictecacihuatl, has been inherited from generation to generation. Altars in honor of the dead are usually placed in homes, although, currently, they can also be seen in places such as schools, museums and public spaces. In addition to the main altar that can be enjoyed from October 7 to November 12 at Casa de Mexico Foundation in Spain, you can also see hundreds of artisanal pieces made in the State of Puebla (central Mexico) through eight different techniques such as: talavera, glazed clay, cardboard, polychrome, palm weaving, molded clay, engravings and plant fibers, using the famous and peculiar catrinas as the central axis of his works. MADRID, ESPAÑA - OCTUBRE 06: Apariencia de varios elementos que forman parte del altar principal en conmemoración del Día de Muertos que se celebra en México el 1 y 2 de cada noviembre, que este año está dedicado a 30 mujeres que han hecho historia en el país Azteca, se aprecia hoy, viernes 6 de octubre de 2023, en la Casa de México en España, en Madrid (España). El 7 de junio de 2003, la tradicional celebración del Día de Muertos en México fue declarada Patrimonio Inmaterial de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Esta tradición que data de la época prehispánica, cuando los antiguos pobladores pensaban que la muerte era solo el principio del viaje hacia Mictlán, donde los muertos se encontraban con el dios Mictlatecuhtli y con la diosa Mictecacíhuatl, se ha heredado de generación en generación. Los altares en honor a los muertos, suelen colocarse en casas, aunque, actualmente, se pueden ver también en sitios como escuelas, museos y espacios públicos. Además del altar principal que se podrá disfrutar del 7 de octubre al 12 de noviembre en Casa de México en España, también se pueden apreciar cientos de piezas artesanales elaboradas en el Estado de Puebla (centro de México) a través de ocho diferentes técnicas como: talavera, barro vidriado, cartonería, policromado, tejido en palma, barro moldeado, grabados y fibras vegetales, utilizando a las famosas y peculiares catrinas como eje central de sus obras.
