The Plein Air competition was held during the week of June 6-14 along the Rock River and in Beloit's Downtown. Sponsored by Friends of RIverFront and area businesses. Winners received sponsor prizes of $1,500, $750 and $500.
The art submitted for competition in the Edge of the Rock Plein Air event remains on display and for sale at the Vision Beloit Center in downtown Beloit throughout the month of June and into early July.

These are from the Acoustic Festival of Britain 2013 which took place at Uttoxeter Racecourse over the weekend of 31st may to June 2nd. These pictures are from the acts who performed on Saturday 1st

Images shot with a DIY infrared modified Nikon D1 digital SLR with AF-S 18-70mm f3.5-4.5 lens, tweaked in Photoshop and final images printed on silver gelatin fibre based paper using a DeVere digital enlarger.

There seems to be a large amount of berries on the trees now which will be a good food supply for all the birds. I noticed this tree when I was on the bus and nipped back to photograph it later in the day. I have no idea what it is - it looks like a Rowan tree but the berries are white.
I'd be interested if anyone knows what it is?
