Hamish helped me take Roki for a walk tonight whilst Lachlan was at Beaver's. He didn't want to go... but seemed to enjoy himself once we were out!
We went through Sea Wood then on to the Druid's Circle... not a bad wee evening adventure!

January 16th 2010 was the 24th consecutive month of peaceful global protests againt the scientology cult. Clearwater Anons went with a 2nd "Anoniversary" theme to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the start of Project Chanology. It was two years ago this month that the now famous Tom Cruise video was leaked on the internet, which the scientology cult then tried to suppress. As a result critical thinkers around the globe did their homework and rose up as one to say "DO NOT WANT!" Within a month that online activism had evolved to include protests outside scientology centers around the world.
All faces of those unmasked are blurred to protect them from the cult's "Fair Game" policy of harassing it's critics. These are brave people of all ages and walks of life, standing shoulder to shoulder with ex-Scientologists to bring the truth TO YOU.
But don't take my word for it, educate yourself about what TIME Magazine called "The Cult of Greed and Power":

These new slippers came in the post today. I'm going to the Swedish office for two weeks and I have terrible trouble with static shocks and these were the only footwear I could find which were completely man made (without spending a fortune). I may look silly but it's a casual office and the majority of my team wear birkenstocks. With socks.

Grey day... Not the best one of the trip. I was waiting for something interesting to happen at this intersection. I wanted some movement, a nice vehicule, something. The second shelf has lots of goodies. Memoirs of a Geisha is one of my all time favorites. The imagery that it invokes is just stunning.
Eat, Pray Love - I've dog eared favorite passages and laughed out loud while reading this woman's journey, and I'm inspired by the chances she takes in life.
Knowing Pains is special because a good friend of mine wrote one of the chapters. It is in insightful collection of essays by real women dealing with real life.
In the blue pile? I was interviewed in Jill Sklar's Five Gifts of Illness (though I haven't read it!) and Love in the Time of Cholera is one of the most romantic stories ever.
I lined the back of the built in shelf with leftover grasscloth wallpaper from my bedroom furniture makeover. It's a subtle change, but I like it. It blends nicely with the wall color.
