First, thanks for all the supportive messages yesterday and today, on the 1/365 photo - much appreciated. Today I woke too early, fell asleep again and eventually re-surfaced at 1.40pm....a couple of hours later it was snowing heavily. Taken again on my Fuji Instax Mini 90. As it's going to be difficult to have too many varied locations, at least for the start of the year, I though I'd try and mix up the tools used. The flash caught some of the snow, which at this point was quite thick, with large flakes..
Taken on 2nd January - according to the app I use to upload, the date taken is showing as 2nd January but not on the desktop site. Hope this note suffices if it doesn’t rectify itself.

So, it seems that i have been standing to the attention of the universe lately. One thing after the other, like a conveyor belt. It's never ending. You feel like you've climbed the mountain and you just get pushed back down again. By something else.
Life kicks you around sometimes, but I can kick back just as hard!
Thanks for the comments and faves, they make me smile. :)
WIP # 2 of the Cinema scene swap. Here is the front view with trees in place. Ground foliage and background work is up next, followed by motorization of the base and speeder bikes.

Today marks the day that I created this account 2 years ago. Back then I was a 14 year old clonetard trying to gain popularity and friends. Over the past 2 years I have made some great great friends and have significantly improved as a builder. Over my time here on flickr here are some of my achievements.

Poppy is 2 years old today.
In looking for a recent shot to post I found this one with her carrying two sticks which seemed appropriate.
Another new bee species for our garden this year. It's apparently a very variable species, and you can see how variable by the photos here: flic.kr/p/2hDudYx
JOY is the settled assurance that God is in control of all the details of my life. The quiet confidence that ultimately everything is going to be okay and the determined choice to praise God in all things. by Kay Warren
Pulling prop-vortices in the damp air and fighting a cross-wind, Hispano-built HA-1112-M1L Buchón 'Black 2' masquerading as a German Luftwaffe 'Messerschmidt Bf-109' caught departing Dunsfold during the annual Wings & Wheels show.
Licence-built by Hispano this ex Spanish Air Force machine was fitted with a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine and along with several others and some Heinkel He-111 look-a-likes - the CASA.211, she was sold off in the 1960's and used in the movie, 'The Battle of Britain'.
Filmed at Duxford and a number of other locations in Europe, the film company used a variety of actual Spitfires and Hurricanes plus some specially constructed examples blown up in the crash scenes.
Along with these 109's and 111's, in the mix too were a couple of 'Stukas' - modified from Percival Proctors and all filmed using modified B-25 Mitchell camera-ships.
As here, many are now part of the UK & US Warbird scene and recently a hangar full of the ex film company 109's has been found in the USA.
Untouched since being acquired as payment for services rendered during the filming, the contents of the hangar will soon be coming up for auction!
Cheque books at the ready!

After the final parts arrived today, I stopped playing Titanfall 2 for a brief moment, to finish the third Titan: Ion
Ion is probably my favourite Titan from Titanfall 2 in terms of looks. His proportions just work and he is more bulked up than Ronin or Northstar, while still looking agile.
Because he is a bit sturdier than the others he can carry his special weapon, the "Splitter Rifle"
I also really like his default color scheme, which is possible in LEGO-form thanks to the colors "Bright Light Orange" and "Medium Dark Flesh".
I hope you like it :)
UPDATE: I added pictures of him without the baseplate.
