My 2,000th picture on Flickr. What a long, strange trip it's been! I must say, I find Flickr great especially for the aspect of "meeting" so many people who let you into a bit of their lives through photography. Back to the archives for a goodie from Moraine Lake in Banff, Canada.

Chinese cooking is big out West. I assume it's from all the Chinese brought here to work on the railroads long ago.
My personal favorite from a visit to the station of Liege, Guillemins. It's an impressive work of art by Santiago Calatrava, i'll certainly visit it again, there are so many angles and ways to see and make different pictures.

I had extra time to play with the processing today so I did. I have been enjoying the freedom I've given myself on this apple project. There is something so gratifying in experimenting with such strong color combos and creating something out of my norm.
Some of us remember the L&N 1616 after it was painted and displayed at TVRM in the mid 90's. Since 2008, this rare U25B has been at Oak Ridge, Tennessee with other collectables in the VLIX collection where it awaits a hopeful round two of restoration. April 2, 2020
