Project Amazing Balloon
Sorry this comment is a little late, however, this is my son James who on Thanksgiving Day ran his first marathon ( in 3:18). He is an amazing person. He is creative, determined, smart, funny, generous and loving. He pushes himself physically whether running or riding his bike throught the NYC streets, he looks at the world with wonder, he is intriqued and intriquing. One of the most amazing characteristics of James' is that he is an incredible friend. He has a generous spirit and people are drawn to him. Many times I have seen James take the road less traveled and he has taught me through example how to be a friend. James has a strong inner compass and has grown into an amazing man. That of all his many accomplishments is the one I am proudest of as his mother. James to thine own self be true and may the road always rise to meet you.
You are truly amazing.

Longing for something I can't quite identify in my art. I've been looking to shoot a certain style of images in the last years and self portraits and this project made me realize how important it is to always look out for it. Now I can see it all fitting together - the project, the self portraits, the thoughts written down. I can see how this finally shaped me as an artist and allowed to take a step further. For all of you who are longing for that something, do such a project. Even if it's just for 100 days and especially if you're still a student. It will be an amazing journey and you won't have the time to experience this in the same intense way once you're working 9 to 5.
