My mother rang early this morning to tell me that rather than spending Christmas with us, she had bought tickets to visit her mother in Trinidad. I am so pleased she is going. She'll be able to attend her school reunion which I know she will love, but also check in with all the cousins.
While we were in New York, we were lucky enough to stay with one of my cousins who lives in Brooklyn. This is a picture of Miles and her son, Jaden. It's lovely to have cousins all over the world. And for that I am truly grateful; it's always lovely to connect and share in their stories.
When the storm leaves you with nothing but eggs, onions and one small zucchini, you make zucchini bites!
Laurence was my first addition to my 100 Strangers project on a day I spent at RAF Coningsby. We talked about different aircraft and how despite Brexit we all seem to be rubbing along together. I admitted it's a shame that more UK citizens aren't fluent in at leat one continental language.This picture is No 26 in my 100 strangers project.
