URR 26 leads a move that pulled down behind the Duquesne Industrial Park and could be easily photographed from the public road that wraps around the park. The train pulled down this far before making a reverse move.
I don't know why I love this photo !!
I just like everything about it. Lighting, Brightness, Treatment and Clolours :P:P
My friend and I have been walking every week, rain or shine (well rain or blistering heat) for over 10 years. Since we've both been back at work (5 years) we meet on the weekend at Kings Park which is about 10 mins from home. This photo was taken on the western side of our walk. It's so gorgeous and untouched but would you believe across the road there are 2 large hospitals. I find this inspiring - aside from how pretty it is with the dewdrops catching the sun (sorry old phone so may be hard to see) but also that we are so lucky to have this walk each week in such amazing surroundings. Every week we see something new, each week the landscape has changed in some small way. Being grateful and appreciative is inspiring.
Recreating the Lego version of a house i did/lived in 18 years ago from a photo for my quarter Norderbruch.
One of McGill's brand new Yutong E12's leaving Braehead on a 26 service to Nethercraigs. McGill's have an order for 55 Yutong E12 electric buses (plus one ADL/BYD E200EV) with I5001 (SG71 MXH) one of the first to enter service.

She's Spring into Style, but I could have sworn I saw her tagged/dubbed Peach Floral.
This has been one quick month, cannot believe just a few days out till December.
Today I have much to be thankful for.
I was stuck in traffic for nearly 3hours today because of shoot in Jersey. While this does not sound like something I should be grateful for, I am going to tell you why I am. I have had a lot more clients this year than last. This fall I would say, I am more than doubled what last fall was. It's been a lot of driving, a lot of Late late nights, a lot of bleary eyed mornings. But having clients that are happy, clients that are fun, well that has just been amazing. More than amazing. The bride in the picture above was from today. Abigail. What a sweetie. She's very young, and expecting a baby in a few weeks. She said her I do's today to Andy, in front of family and friends. She couldn't afford full day wedding coverage. She asked if I could come take some portraits of her and Andy.
Andy pulled me aside while we were shooting, and thanked me for coming. He told me that Abigail was so excited for me to be there with them, and he told me how much she loved my work. He said that it meant a lot to her to have me. They had saved up money for me to take their portraits. I nearly fell out right then and there, a puddle on the ground. I hung around, and shot their wedding ceremony anyway. Things like this, words like this, oh my word make every traffic jam worth it. My heart is feeling so thankful for these amazing people that I have come to know. It's so humbling, so inspiring.
Thank you thank you.
26.033 drifts into Perth. The gentleman on the platform appears to be wearing a tartan suit, this was clearly de rigeur for the time which meant l must have been underdressed.
My mother rang early this morning to tell me that rather than spending Christmas with us, she had bought tickets to visit her mother in Trinidad. I am so pleased she is going. She'll be able to attend her school reunion which I know she will love, but also check in with all the cousins.
While we were in New York, we were lucky enough to stay with one of my cousins who lives in Brooklyn. This is a picture of Miles and her son, Jaden. It's lovely to have cousins all over the world. And for that I am truly grateful; it's always lovely to connect and share in their stories.
