Una rejilla que tapaba un pozo... Una foto que la que he querido resaltar las texturas del metal oxidado.
Spent the weekend at the Gaylord w/ the family. They had a big Alice in Wonderland theme all summer and had these giant chess sets. The pieces are about 4-5 inches tall. The pic is not that great at showing the scale but oh well. Had 1 shot w/ a hand in it but did not come out well and the family was then ready to leave me there so had to move on!
In between running around for various activities, I had about 40 minutes to myself and decided to explore this old cemetery.One of the first graves that I saw had this civil war marker and the light coming throughout the flag was perfect, so I snapped a few. Then I tripped on the uneven ground and broke my flip flop! That was the end of my exploring. Another day perhaps.
Just working of different lighting....
Toured a school I'm admitted to today but not sure if I'm going there yet...We'll see.
The stars in the sky seem to notice your serenity.

I had forgotten that I had this bellow setup. I needed it after I couldn't find my reversing ring.
Also, this is my favorite 35mm camera.
This picture was taken on my trip to the Le Mans 24 hour race in 2006. This is a Aston Martin DBR9 race car.

Sábado 4 de Septiembre. Un día espectacular. Playa, sagardo eguna, pintxos, terrazas con amigos, cena, y concierto del gran Andres Calamaro. Quiero que el tiempo se detenga. Lo ha dicho Andrelo esta noche en el kursaal. Lo comparto al 100%. Tengo la tremenda suerte de conocer a Andres en persona despues del concierto. Le agradezco el concierto y el me devuelve su agradecimiento con un abrazo. Yo tambien quiero que el tiempo se detenga. Soy inmensamente feliz. Un sueño cumplido. Grande Andrelo.
(NL) 24/7_ Trojan is een onderzoek naar de publieke ruimte van het Keizer Karelplein in Nijmegen. Stelt u zich eens voor dat het keizer karelplein een enorm landschappelijk schilderij is wat met haar rug op de grond ligt. Dagelijks lopen of rijden wij misschien zelf wel rond in dit schilderij. Vroeger schilderden kunstenaars hun omgeving om deze te begrijpen met verf. De resultaten lieten ze zien aan een select gezelschap. Vandaag proberen kunstenaars de omgeving tijdelijk anders te gebruiken. Zodat we -het liefst samen, jong en oud- onderzoek kunnen doen naar de intenties van de makers achter het beeld van deze dagelijkse ‘werkelijkheid’.
De titel 24/7_Trojan verwijst naar de 24-uurs verkeersfunctie van het plein en het beeld van Keizer Karel te paard, gemaakt door de kunstenaar Albert Termote (1887 - 1978). Dit beeld deed mij denken aan het spreekwoordelijke Trojaanse paard. Een Trojaans paard is in de computerwereld een functie die verborgen zit in een programma dat door de gebruiker wordt geïnstalleerd. Bent u een gebruiker van het plein en geïnteresseerd in dit onderzoek?

24/7_Trojan is onderdeel van het Expoplu programma, geïnitieerd door beeldend kunstenaar Edwin Stolk en op uitnodiging van kunstenaar en curator Stijn Van Dorpe.

(ENG) 24/7_Trojan is researching the public space of het Keizer Karelplein in Nijmegen. Imagine this large traffic square as a huge landscape painting which lays with its back on the ground. On a daily basis we might walk or drive there ourselves in this painting. In the past, artists tried to understand their surrounding by painting it. Their results were shown to a select audience. Today’s artists try to use their surrounding temporary in a different way. By doing so -with help of others, young and old- they research the intentions of the makers behind this image of daily ‘reality’.
The title 24/7_Trojan refers to the 24 hours traffic function and the statue of Charles the Great made by the artist Albert Termote (1887 - 1978) in the middle of the square. This statue made me think of the proverbial Trojan horse. A Trojan horse in computer terms refers to a function hidden in a program that is installed by its user. Are you a user of this square and interested in this research?
-7 June at 3 pm you are more than welcome in the small park in the middle of the square. Here experts will tell insides about our relation with the traffic square. (in Dutch)
-14 June at 3pm you are more than welcome in front of the city theatre De Vereeniging, together we will make ‘The crossing’.
