One of a batch of 30 similar buses introduced by BCT in the summer of 1950, 247 KEL133 remained in service in Bournemouth until 1972.

We had an afternoon tea party today, to celebrate my mum's birthday. She invited her friends and some family and it was a great success; the hired teacups, saucers, afternoon tea accessories and bunting were all fabulous!
To coordinate with the theme, her present from us was a voucher for afternoon tea at Claridges (I almost kept it for myself...). I can't top Dad's present, which is an amazing trip to Thailand - kept a surprise until a few days ago. I can't wait to turn 60!!

Route 247 is a north/south highway on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River in the Estrie region of Quebec. Its northern terminus is in Magog at the junction of Route 112 and its southern terminus is in Stanstead, at the junction of Autoroute 55 less than 1 kilometre north of the United States-Canada border.
Part of this highway straddles the US-Canadian border along Canusa Street, separating Beebe Plain, Vermont from Beebe Plain, Quebec.
