LA&L 433 & 425 with 24 cars ar approaching Papermill Road in Avon, NY on January 9, 2025. The wind was blowing hard, and the train was helping kick up the snow and leaves. Been having fun with the big tele as it gives a different look to locations I have done literally hundreds of times in the last 30 years.
I don't remember what the name is for this beautiful flower, but my sister gave me a start several years ago, and I always love it!

De motordienstwagen (mDW) Jaap begon zijn leven in 1924 als 9002 van het materieel '24, gebouwd door Beijnes in Haarlem. Vanaf 1968 werd de motorwagen gebruikt als mDW wegleerrijtuig onder nummer 3084 978 1 500-7 en heeft het zo tot 1981 uit kunnen houden. Hij vertrekt hier van de A-sporen in IJsselmonde voor een wegleerrit naar Eindhoven, waar ook de thuisbasis was. Als museumexemplaar vertoeft hij momenteel in Roosendaal.
This unit was built by Beijnes at Haarlem and entered service as mC 9002 in 1924. November 1968 saw it enter departmental service, where it remained as a route learning vehicle, until withdrawn in 1981. It was later preserved and stationed at Roosendaal.
