Tango é sempre tango, né?
Mas é esmalte atrasado... =]
Deixa eu contar!!!!! Ontem a noite passei a tesoura nas unhas. Estavam muito compridas, estavam me atrapalhando..... Ainda tenho uma super reunião do meu trabalho semana que vem e acho melhor elas estarem mais curtas.
O escolhido da foto é lindo!!!! Achei a cor super diferente. Como todo tango ele é beeem pigmentado, fácil de passar e rápido pra secar.... uma maravilha!
As cutículas estão "um pouco" ressacadas....aaaaafffff ##

CH_24, The Wishbone Chair or the Y-chair was designed in 1949 by Hans Wegner for Carl Hansen & Son.
This time, I lit this scene with a HDR image which gives a softer, more natural light (i think!).

What does it take to train a dolphin?
It takes:
1. Removing a dolphin from the wild. In Taiji, this means that they also have to watch their "less attractive" family members be slaughtered. Only dolphins without scratches, scars and of a certain age and species get chosen for captivity.

We met Ray as we were wandering through the small hamlet of Wapanucka, OK. When I was a kid, I used to visit family here and play on the even-then quiet streets, explore the old, abandoned high school with my dad, and enjoy great feasts prepared by all of the relatives. Unfortunately, these relatives are either dead or have moved away, so I haven't been back to Wapanucka in about 12 years. It was sad to see that all of the downtown is abandoned now, the old high school that my dad and I spent hours exploring has been torn down, and the only sign of bustling life seems to be the corner convenience store/restaurant/gas station at the intersection of two rural highways.
This is where we met Ray. He was driving around town in his jadite green 30's Ford truck and stopped at the convenience store at the same time we did. As droplets of rain began to fall, we started talking about his beautifully restored truck (photos of that tomorrow), and I asked him if he knew any of my family who grew up here. He immediately recognized my grandfather's name and said that they played together often as kids. My grandfather was the one who broke up fights and kept the order among their gaggle of unruly boys, he said, and I believe it (my grandfather later became a teacher and served a very long term as chief of the Chickasaw Nation -- really!).
Ray then told us about the girlfriend he had from the first day of elementary school all the way through high school graduation. They didn't marry because she moved away after graduation, but they often meet up at high school reunions (their 60th was a few years ago!) and share memories of life in their beloved, but now quietly dying small town. While she moved away, Ray remained in the Wapanucka area, married, had kids, and has enjoyed a great life, he says with a wide grin on his face.
What more can you ask for in life than that?

As Ronnie and I stood talking, a drunken young lad yelled, 'YEEEEE HAH! Gee up there horsey!'
'Do you get a lot of that?' I asked
Ronnie nodded.
When Ronnie was 14, his class were asked by the teacher if they wanted an America pen pal.
'All of us lads ticked the 'girl' box,' he smiled, 'And I'm still in touch with my pen pal 60 years later - Jean Robinson from Kansas.'
He's never met her in person but they talk on the phone and still write a lot.
Ronnie loves the country music scene and remembered seeing Buddy Holly at the City Hall, Newcastle on Thursday 6th March 1958 when he was 18 years old.
He used to listen to Burl Ives on the American Forces Network radio station and his dad was continually yelling at him to 'turn it down!'
Ronnie was a lovely, quiet gent with lots of wonderful tales to tell. I felt very sad and embarrassed for him when the guy shouted at him. A young clip of a lad, drunk on the streets of Newcastle at 2pm and making fun of one of Newcastle's lovely, colourful characters.
Thank you for your time, Ronnie - hope you manage to find your photo on here :)

I was having tea with a friend and her daughter when Spectra and her beautiful mother arrived and sat at the table next to us. Spectra was in quite the elaborate attire. I introduced myself and asked her if she would mind participating in my project. I was pleased that she was delighted to do so.
I thought because of her dress, she may be participating in the Celtic festival. It turns out that she was not, and just was "feeling it" today. She looked beautiful. She and her mom had come to Austin today from San Antonio to attend a The Sunshine Community Gardens Tomato Festival. They were making a day of it in the city. Spectra misses Austin. She is living with her mom in San Antonio now while she goes through chemo. These were two beautiful women and their affection for each other was touching.
Meeting these two really emphasizes that this project is so much more than just photographs.

Can not make up my mind.. yet. Will do soon ;)
Today some guy had to measure my windows because the room is getting new ones when I'm leaving, aaah! Then I realized the thing I'm going to miss most are my windows. They are so big and nice and amazing light and everything <3 But now I'm getting an apartment, so that's a lot better. But the windows are tiny ;__; Noes!
Didn't crop this on purpose!

I've had to move this to another pond or the fish were going to enjoy a feast!!!
Never going to catch up but hey ho....
Another hot one here today!
Pressed for time and feeling a little uninspired today!
I wandered down the street after work today to grab some milk, took my camera with me as I am now accustomed to doing . . . and look what I found . . . bins, red bins and three of them at that! Coupled with some graffiti I think they make fro some pretty decent looking trash!
There are several of us working on a 365 project, and if you'd like to follow along, here are links to the others:
