One of my favourite pieces I have done in a long time. Shot on 5x4 slide too, awsome! I originally shot this ages ago for a friend, using my 30D. Had been waiting to do it again for a while using a large format camera. My class mates and teacher thought the piece was very interesting and thoughtful. And my friend liked it.
Bring in the New Year...in a red sweater and tweed pencil skirt...
The red-on-red twofer top is by Apt. 9 Woman, a thrift store find in June 2012; the tweed pencil skirt is from Kmart's Jaclyn Smith line in March 2013; the shoes are Bongo "Ferona" red plaid peep-toe mary-janes, from Kmart in August 2010. Other accessories are a red bow, silver and chunky jewelry, thin black belt, and natural hose.
Sorry Guys it was a really busy day with no time to take photos...this is just some of the "stuff" found regularly on my kitchen table :)
hope your week started well :)

In the words of the stylish Mavenhaven, "I joined the Wardrobe Remix group and now I seem to wear a lot of dresses over pants."
Pants are from Plum (Vancouver), black t is from Smart Set or a similar-type mall store, and the tunic thing is from Sakura on Robson St. The necklace was my grandmother's. I'm still not sure how I feel about this babydoll top trend.....I'm not keen on the 'possibly pregnant' look. But I loved the pattern on this one. I'm wearing black sandals, but apparently the grass is a bit too long?
