Today I embellished with my son our house and garden with flowers.
aka 24-spot ladybird.
Quite a dark one, and wasn't even sure of the species when I found it!! Dorsal shot in comments (viewable large).

There are places with nothing special about them... but they can take to special moments.
Ry is a small town in Denmark's "lake district". By the lake there are small piers where people bath, where boats hang. When sunsets, it gets magical.
In Ry there's a pier with nothing special about it.

Preserved former John Fishwick & Sons Leyland National, 24 (XCW 955R), is pictured here at Hazel Grove Park & Ride, whilst on display for the "Farewell to the B10M" event. 14/11/15
John Fishwick and Sons, of Leyland, Lancashire, ceased operations abruptly after service on Saturday 24th October 2015.
Around half of the approximately 35-strong fleet was leased and were returned to their owners when the company ceased trading. The remainder of the company's fleet are expected to be disposed of via online auction.
Although this event was intended to say "Farewell to the B10M", this vehicle's appearance at the event commemorates the company's 108-year heritage, and marks the end of the company's operations.

Since 1999, 22 life-size bronze statues have stood beside Little Haven Beach at South Shields, overlooking the harbour and the Tyne piers. With their large round bases, these strange figures resemble children's wobbling toys. Like many public sculptures, they have been given a local nickname. Tynesiders call them the "Weebles"
