Reliance 24, a 2009 Volvo B9TL Wrightbus Eclipse Gemini 2, was seen in the Reliance depot, whilst out of service. New to Lothian Buses as their 338.
Hi guys, I didn't post stuff for months so decided to show this build - a Mi-24 Hind in a rare configuration, with twin-barrelled autocannon and modernised scopes under the nose together with old, long wings.
Basic structure of the model isn't new, I made a Hind years ago and posted it on Flickr, but recently decided to rebuild it with slight changes. I think it came out okay except for few parts. Model took me forever to make, as I was constantly losing interest in it and finding it again, and I could have taken pictures a few weeks ago already. I am sorry for lack of proper paintjob on the bird, decided to leave it as it is because I know it would take me months to actually finish the camo and I would be even more fed up with this build then. Also, thanks to @nbm_lego and @dariobricks on Instagram for the cockpit idea, my previous iteration used brick built one. I might change it up again in the future, but I kinda like the current look. Hoy iba rumbo a una reunión de mi iglesia y camino a ese lugar me encontré en el mismo semáforo de la vez pasada al "Cenzontle Melódico" pero en esta ocasión haciendo malabares con fuego. Es una historia larga de contar, lo único que puedo decir es que a veces uno se encuentra en el lugar equivocado en la hora equivocada.
Frances was my Mothers' aunt. My mom had her hope chest and never looked in it. Found about 50 photos that had not seen the light of day for at least three decades.
Given the unpleasant sciatic pain I've been experiencing lately instead of swimming I opted for some retail therapy. The excuse is an attempt to reduce the number (therefore the weight) of gear that I take on my walks. Recently I've been a bit more disciplined - if memory serves, I have not acquired a lens since before the lockdown.

Drop in a heavy barrel, swap out the trigger group, pop in a 100 round drum, and you've got one hell of an IAR.

Former nightclub in Calton Road, Edinburgh operating from 1995 - 2017. Prior to that the venue was named The Calton Studios a cinema and club. The site has now (2020) been redeveloped for residential use.
Ha llegado 'ese' dÃa, ese dÃa sin tiempo y plano de ideas. Poco tiempo y mucho por hacer. Después de tres gritos de 'mamá mira que hago', desde mi escritorio con cámara a mano y preparada (eso sÃ), un pequeño giro de 30 grados y disparo.
Day 24.
Now is 'the' day, that day out of time and level of ideas. Little time and much to do. After three cries of 'look mom I do', from my desk with camera handy and ready (yes), a small 30-degree turn and shot.
Kirkwood in the early 1990s was a neat place to watch trains. You had signals, two railroads, a nice depot at which to hang out and nobody to bother you. Three railroads ran through Kirkwood, including Union Pacific, Amtrak, and the best show on the Sedalia Subdivision, the Southern Pacific. SP in those days was a treat to anticipate. They ran a rainbow of beat up power, many times from other railroads or a number of leasing companies, eight to a consist quite often. Their crews were friendly, sometimes throwing paperwork or timetables down to the goofballs watching trains. Every once in a while they'd offer a ride.
Fast forward now. Kirkwood is not so much the same. It has become more of a destination to eat, drink, and be merry. It doesn't shut down as early as it did in those days. The depot has been staffed at times by volunteers who feel they run the place more than volunteer at it, and make it their business to dictate your business. The signals are gone, having been moved a little east of here with their accompanying crossovers. And there is a black fence along the tracks to keep people away from the tracks. The SP is gone, in my opinion the biggest loss. But on this beautiful autumn day, SP put on a fine abbreviated motive power show with a pair of well worn six axles that have topped the hill after having to stop their climb west of the depot because some jackoff laid a railroad tie across the tracks. Once cleared, they resumed their pull, but from a dead start near the top of the hill, they sure made some noise. Here, a half mile east of the pinnacle, they were still pulling a lot of their train uphill, and the noise of the locomotives certainly showed that.

A good walk shouldn't be like a stroll in the park sometimes you just need to climb some steep high hills. Today, was my day albeit it was very windy up here but lovely and fresh!
All the trees are nicely lined up on top of the hill.
