Taken Jan 11th 25. This was my second trip this year, the first being a bust with stubborn low cloud on the horizon. Similar issue this time but with more high cloud the sky was on fire. Just 8 or so photographers jostling for position, definitely worth the trip this time.

The conditions were more challenging for wide angle photography this week, but I held out instead of switching over to macro and on the third dive we found some clean water.
A lovely adult, and the pupa in comments has been there long enough for a spider to create it's web over it!

Anyone who knows a cat will know how much pleasure they take from lying in the sun and rolling in dust!

The beauty of bougainvillea however looks really are deceiving!! The thorns protecting this beautiful local plant really do cause you a mischief if you get caught when cutting back this beauty, it’s flourishing in our garden. You cannot recreate the natural colour of this flower intense cerise!

I have started to collect a number of original slides (with copyright) 'most' of which probably haven’t been seen before. Some come with image information and some don't. Please feel free to leave a comment if you know locations, dates, numbers etc, it would be much appreciated. I have uploaded these at a low resolution, please don't copy / download without my prior permission.
I only collect slides on the understanding that the full copyright transfers over to me. If you believe there to be a copyright issue please drop me an email.
Not originally my idea, just saw a same kind of photo one day and thought that I'll have to test it out myself too.
