Lors de la soirée du samedi 18 février, ce sont les grues qui ont permis aux visiteurs, nous compris, de patienter jusqu’à la nuit noire. Elles nous ont offert un ballet impressionnant, allant et venant à basse altitude, tout en poussant leurs « grougrous » typiques de leur espèce. Elles devaient chercher un endroit où se poser pour la nuit mais notre présence a dû les troubler. Les volatiles ont fini par partir plus loin chercher un site pour tranquille.

It’s so cold today but gorgeous day too. We were so lucky we saw the otters on the way out on our walk playing on the opposite side of the bank and then me the way back they were nearer to where we were. Sadly didn’t get decent pictures of them this time

This locomotive was withdrawn in December, 1988 and scrapped at M.C.Metals in Glasgow during April, 1989.
