Zatímco ve Střelči, kam vede vlečka, je ještě mlha a pozvolna se nad mrznoucí pokličku tyčí i čedičové kužely hradu Trosky, vyváží "kocour" soupravu loženou pískem poblíž stanice Libuň. Zde je postupně, ze čtyřech obratů do pískovny, sestaven ucelený vlak, který pravidelně po poledni vyráží do Řetenic.
