It'll be 21 years this spring since I first set foot on a skateboard. So many things have changed over those years, but for me skateboarding has always been constant. All of the friends that I grew up riding with have quit to pursue careers, cars, girls, families, or got caught up in drugs and the troubles that come with that lifestyle. Some of the best times in my life came as a result of skateboarding, and I've met some of the best people in the world through it. In fact I don't know if I'd have ever found photography if it weren't for skating and seeing all the cool photos in the skateboard magazines. Anyway I was out yesterday and took this picture when all of a sudden it dawned on me how long it's been.

S-21 formerly known as Tuol Svay Prey High School but in 1975 was taken over by Pol Pot's security force and turned into a prison known as Security Prison 21 (S-21). This corridor is bright in this afternoon when I was taking the picture...But somehow I still can feel fear in this place.

This photo is a strong accent which begins a series of photos of strangers met at London Fashion Week. Street fashion at its best. I have asked Ayuko to be a part of the project for obvious reason- such a bright and colorful style can not be missed.

I love the old washed out feel of the building. Especially the little details like the unit 21 on the top right hand corner of the door and on the rusted mailbox.
Reality sinks in.

Week 21, May 19 - May 25:
Spent the week in London with some mates from uni and my Prof, and even though it was already my third time in the city, it was definitely the best and most interesting out of all three stays. Being able to look back on such an amazing week totally makes up for my feet hurting and back aching like crazy from walking miles and miles every day. We were able to visit many great pieces of Modern Architecture, enjoyed the sun and even managed to see BP's live screening of La Traviata on Trafalgar Square. And I think I might have left a tiny part of my heart at Canary Wharf, or on the tube, or maybe somewere along the Thames. And I already know, I definitely will be coming back to collect that picece one day, no matter what. But firt, I can't wait to go through all my pictures and once I get around to editing them, I'll be sharing loads more either here, on FB or on Instagram.

I turned 21 just recently, so to celebrate I thought I'd make a wine coaster out of a 21-sided polygon. 21 is a multiple of 3 and 7, so the design shows off both symmetries.
