I woke up about 1 AM on the 21st, for the necessary, and had a glance outside. The aurora was glowing on the horizon, so I decided to pop out for a look. My favourite spot on the Minto channel, a side channel of the Fraser River, was deserted, so I spent some time watching and shooting. This one turned out especially well, imo. Froze my butt and finger off, and crawled back into bed with heating pads at 3 AM.
Iggy Pop made it to 79 yesterday, the QUEEN would be 100, and I am 60 years old now. We had a lovely day!

Vandaag rijdt de eerste Vectron in de reiszigerdienst voor de IC Berlijn (Amsterdam - Bad Bentheim vv). Naar verluid is dit ook een opleidings-/testrit.
Met enige vertraging - de Sprinter 15827 naar Amersfoort is de schuldige) komt NSI 193 766 met de ICB143 de Eempolder binnen richting Amersfoort.
De hevige regen zorgt voor een niet optimale foto.
