Light reflected from nearby buildings made the trees here standout as if artificially lit.

Had a tough time using my 50mm lens to take these shots; might have been easier with a 24-105 macro lens.

Indulged in my fascination with smoke and did a few shots using some small birthday candles. Hard to tell here, but this is the smoke from 3 candles tied together.

I see this shot at the airport frequently (as a 'welcome to Boston' image) and thought I'd try to recreate it myself.

This is a practice using 2 off camera flashes. One was used to saturate the background so it's totally indistinct. Funnily, I had on a red pullover that showed up in the reflection -- showing this as a B/W image removed that distracting bit of color.

A bit cliche, but definitely a picturesque part of Copenhagen.
