En 2002 le musée national de la Marine organise une exposition consacrée à Nicolas Vial, peintre et dessinateur « rêveur » qui entrave les bateaux et fait naviguer les chats. Pour beaucoup d’entre nous, c’est une découverte. À l’issue de l’exposition, l’artiste offre au musée ce « Bateauroute » qui fera l’affiche de l’exposition suivante au château de Brest.

The elections for the local government bodies are due next month. In the Netherlands, the local government consists of the city Council and the Board of Mayor and Aldermen. The Council members (Raadsleden) are elected directly in local elections every four years. The Board members are not, although the direct election of the Mayor is around the corner.
Rotterdam and Amsterdam, the Netherlands' largest cities, have an additional governmental layer: Neighborhood Councils. As resident of Amsterdam, I get to cast TWO votes: one for the City Council and one for my Neighborhood council. Elections are on March 7th. I think the paper voting bills will finally be replaced by voting computers.
Update: Marco Wessel pointed out that the photo shows the voting bill for the National Parliament (House of Representatives, 'de Tweede Kamer') elections, held three months later that same year, in May 2002.

La dernière Enzo produite a été vendue aux enchères au profit des victimes du tsunami de 2004 en Asie.
