The reason that I had chose this picture by this artist because while going through his gallery, lots of his pictures dealt with lots of vivid colors and contrasts. This enabled me to focus on the main idea of the picture, in this case the bee. The picture is captured in incredible detail and the picture provides a new focus to the image.

I scanned Fremont 1 & 2 on the B&W setting. Not till I went to scan the next set of negative did it dawn on me that the film was COLOUR! D'oh. Guess that's what happens when you've had a couple of drinks earlier in the evening...

So I re scanned them in colour. But I decided I liked the B&W so I kept them and scanned others from colour to B&W. I think some actually look better in B&W.
