Not my favorite way to edit a photograph, but it was today's challenge and I think it works well for this antique lamp.

Fellow driver Terry and I worked the train as far as Edinburgh.
The funny thing about armor is that it doesn’t just keep other people out. It keeps us in. We build it up around us, not realizing that we’re trapping ourselves.

Frozen River
Sometimes I still can hear - echoes of silent fears. But on that winter's day - you swept them all away.
These were the times when I longed for the river and I closed my eyes and you laid your hands down on me.

Apple Tarte Tatin ... with apple brandy and camambert cheese on puff pastry. Yes, Kandice is visiting today, smiling.
Cheers to Fridays and weekends!
Winemakers Notes:
"Dark red and maroon hues extend from the core of the glass as dark fruits, licorice and spice linger. The Shiraz is the brooding component that brings the core of dark fruits, licorice, and round ripe tannins. The Grenache is focussed in the red and blue fruits spectrum and delivers plushness to the final blend. Last but definitely not least the Mataro brings the spice and finer tannins pulling the structure together and giving the wine drive. The resultant wine is complex and layered in a soft approachable style." ~ www.woodswholesalewine.com/products/2015-19-crimes-red-so...

Judy (stranger 19, round 3)
You have people who immediately react enthusiastically when you ask to take a photo. They pose very naturally as if they have done nothing else. And you have people who don't really know what to do and who stand in front of the camera uncomfortably. How am I supposed to stand? Should I laugh? What should I look for? They are happy when it's over. Judy belongs to the latter category. I met her in Schiedam. The Stedelijk Museum Schiedam is undergoing renovations and they will then have the opportunity to take a good look through the collection. The provenance of all objects is not clear and sometimes the link with the city of Schiedam is uncertain. Everything is now being re-cataloged and the public can help. The artifacts are displayed in an old church and are supervised by the museum staff. One of those employees is Judy. The high light in the church fell beautifully on her curls. That was the reason for me to want to take a picture.
This is the 19th photo from my 3rd round of the 100strangers project.
