Overwhelment is about you not being up to speed with what you told the Universe that you want. The Universe is yielding to you. You're just not ready to receive it right now. Abraham-Hicks

The Class 21s were nicknamed Pugs and were used for shunting in industrial and dock areas. This was one of the last of its class built in Horwich in 1910.

While walking around the Hollycombe Steam Collection in Liphook Hants I noticed 2 ladies who were operating the steam machinery running the Victorian fun fair. I got into conversation with one of them Juliette who was operating "Big John" a large 1906 steam engine that originally powered a saw mill but now provides power to the classic "Golden Gallopers" roundabout. she had been at the engine since 8am getting it ready and up to steam for the day ahead. I asked how she became involved in Steam. She told me that her parents had started as volunteers in 1987 and from a little girl she had spent all school holidays helping at the collection. She had a large number of volunteers friends, and that is how she met her husband, who came with his farther and grand farther. There son is now also a volunteer so that makes 4 generations, who have the power of steam in their veins.

Juliette was delighted to be asked to become one of my 100 strangers.

I met Desiree during ArtPrize. She came from Tampa, FL with her ArtPrize entry "Barter Boat". She has the most beautiful blue eyes, I had to capture them. Behind her are items to be bartered.

Thanks for comments and favs :)

Not my favorite way to edit a photograph, but it was today's challenge and I think it works well for this antique lamp.
