Snow White and the Prince from the D23 Limited Edition Ivory Snow White Designer Fairytale Doll Set have joined my Desktop Disney Doll Display. Purchased today, August 9, 2013. They are still in their factory restraints, but the case has been uncovered. They have displaced Great Villains Ursula and LE Sgt. Calhoun. LE Merida has moved back with LE Cinderella. I will fully debox Snow White and the Prince soon, so they no longer have the plastic spacers or the cardboard backing to block the view of the dolls or their surroundings.

All dolls are deboxed except for the long-lashed Wedding Rapunzel, who I have kept boxed, and the D23 Designer Snow White and the Prince dolls, who are still in their factory restraints. The dolls are by the Disney Store unless otherwise indicated:

1st row

- Snow White and the Prince D23 Limited Edition Designer Fairytale 12'' dolls

2nd row

- Vanessa 12'' doll wearing Once Upon a Wedding Ariel's gown (from The Little Mermaid Deluxe Doll Gift Set)

- Ariel 12'' mermaid doll ((from The Little Mermaid Deluxe Doll Gift Set)

3rd row

- Celebration Merida Limited Edition 18'' doll (from Brave)

- Cinderella Limited Edition 18'' doll

4th row

- Snow White Limited Edition 17'' doll

- Belle Limited Edition 17'' doll (from Beauty and the Beast)

- Wedding Rapunzel Limited Edition 17'' doll (from Tangled Ever After, boxed)

It was suggested to me to pair the D23 Snow White 17 inch doll with the single release Prince 18 inch doll. It has been noted by various people that their boxes have very similar graphics, so perhaps they were meant to go together, even though the D23 LE Hag was released in conjunction with D23 Snow. The Snow White doll looks to her right, as does the Prince, but the Prince's glance is just slightly to his right. If they are facing each other, with the Prince to the left, they can be made to look as though they are looking at each other. I put the pair in various poses. In the last one the Prince is about to kiss Snow White to wake her from the Sleeping Death. The Prince is free standing, Snow White is supported by her included display stand (except in the last two photos).

2017 Disney Store Mulan medium plush. Laying down.

From World of Disney in Disneyland, I got the four Disney Store medium Princess plush that they had for sale on my visit on July 4, 2017: Aurora, Ariel, Belle and Mulan ($24.99). Belle is also available online from the Disney Store (for $19.95). But I haven't seen the other three plush online or in person in Disney Stores yet. Unlike previous recent DS plush, they have printed faces rather than embroidered. That means that their features have more subtle detail, but I'm not sure about their durability. They do look very pretty, and I like all of their faces. My favorite is Belle, both for her face and outfit. The three plush with dresses have two layers in their skirts, a sheer organza layer over a satin layer, that are sewn together in the back seam. The satin layer has lace trim at the hem for Aurora and Belle. Ariel has a solid tail, and two layered fins that are a new design. The tail can't bend, and Ariel can't bend at the waist either, so Ariel can't sit. Both her bra and the tail are higher than in previous plush designs, which deviate from the animated design as well.

The new plush are 18 inches high, which is considerably shorter than the 20-21 inches of the versions from previous years. The new Tangled: The Series plush are also 18 inches, so it seems that is the new standard size for Princess type medium plush from the Disney Store. The Disney Store also have Rapunzel and Snow White available online and hopefully in stores, so I intend to get them very soon, as well as any other new Princess plush that they release. The other princesses (Cinderella, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Tiana, Merida, Anna and Elsa) are yet to be released for 2017.

The nine Limited Edition Disney Princess 17'' Dolls so far released, posed standing on their included display stands. They are in order of their release (except Cinderella was actually released before Formal Merida). Rapunzel and Merida have two dolls each in this series. So seven of the eleven official Disney Princesses have dolls in this series so far.

Top row: Snow White, Tiana, Belle

Middle row: Blonde Rapunzel, Wedding Rapunzel, Celebration Merida

Bottom row: Formal Merida, Cinderella, Ariel

Group photos of my collection of 17-18'' Limited Edition Disney Store Collector Dolls. The series started with Snow White in October 2009, and has continued every year since then, with at least two releases per year. There isn't an official name or definition of this series, which started out as strictly Disney Princess dolls.

So some DS large limited edition dolls are questionable as to their inclusion. They include the 19'' China Girl replica resin doll (which I have, but is not included in this photoset), the Toy Story dolls (none of which I have), or the Jack and Sally resin dolls (also not included in this photoset). Also, I don't have the Alice or Queen of Heart dolls, which are definitely part of this series, although Alice isn't an official Disney Princess.

The dolls in this series in my collection, in order of their release, are:

Snow White (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, 2009)

Tiana (The Princess and the Frog, 2010)

Belle (Beauty and the Beast, 2010)

Blonde Rapunzel (Tangled, 2011)

Mother Gothel (Tangled, 2011)

Wedding Rapunzel (Tangled Ever After, 2012)

Celebration Merida (Brave, 2012)

Cinderella (Cinderella, 2012)

Lady Tremaine (Cinderella, 2012)

Sergeant Calhoun (Wreck-It Ralph, 2012)

Formal Merida (Brave, 2012)

Queen Elinor (Brave, 2012)

Ariel (The Little Mermaid, 2013)

Prince Eric (The Little Mermaid, 2013)

Ursula (The Little Mermaid, 2013)

My new Snow White Story Book Figurine by Jim Shore has joined the Snow White and the Prince dolls on my desk. The new arrivals are not dolls, but the 4'' Snow White and Prince figurines are a nice complement to the 12'' and 17'' dolls in the display, especially the couples.

All dolls are deboxed, and are Disney Store limited editions (except for the Prince Classic doll, and the figurines).

1st row

- Snow White Story Book Figurine by Jim Shore (Enesco/Disney)

The LE 2500 Anna and Elsa 17'' dolls from Frozen are finally on my computer desk. They are in the space vacated by all the Disney Fairytale Designer Collection dolls, who have left for my wall of Disney Designer Dolls. The Singing Elsa doll has also left my desk, to be next to the Harrods Frozen dolls. Cinderella and Belle have come back to the desk, and they together with Snow White are now in their old arrangement. The dolls are now much less crowded together, and I think the display looks better. Arranged in front of the Monsters University and D23 Frozen dolls on my desk are recently released Frozen pins and Vinylmation figures.

All dolls are deboxed, and are all by the Disney Store. The following lists all the dolls in this photo, their heights, and the year of the doll's release.

1st row

- Carrie and Heather 11'' dolls from Monsters University (2013)

- Elsa and Anna 12'' dolls from the D23 Frozen Elsa and Anna Doll Set (2013)

- Wedding Rapunzel Limited Edition 17'' doll, with short eyelashes (2012)

2nd row

- Limited Edition Anna 17'' Doll, LE 2500 (2013)

- Limited Edition Elsa 17'' Doll, LE 2500 (2013)

- Celebration Merida Limited Edition 18'' doll (2012)

3rd row

- Snow White Limited Edition 17'' doll (2009)

Group photos of the 2015 Frozen Limited Edition Dolls, together with other Frozen dolls. Here is the complete set of the Frozen limited edition dolls released by the Disney Store on March 3-4, 2015. Elsa, Kristoff and Anna are standing side by side, supported by the included doll stands. Elsa is in the purple outfit she wears before her parents go out to sea. Kristoff and Anna are wearing their outfits from the end of the Frozen animated feature film.

The Maleficent and Aurora dolls of the Disney Film Collection, and the Dark Beauty Maleficent doll by Jakks Pacific join the Royal Coronation Aurora doll by Jakks Pacific. They are from the Disney Maleficent movie (opening on May 30, 2014). They displace the Beloved Aurora 12'' doll by Jakks Pacific and the D23 Elsa and Anna dolls.

All seven of my 17'' Limited Edition dolls on my desktop display have swapped clothing and accessories with another LE 17'' doll. Newly outfitted Princesses are Coronation Anna, Belle and Celebration Merida, wearing each others' outfits. LE Snow White and Wedding Rapunzel have swapped outfits. LE Cinderella and Snow Queen Elsa have switched gowns.

All dolls are deboxed, and are by the Disney Store, unless otherwise indicated. The following lists all the dolls in this photo, their heights, and the year of the doll's release.

- Cinderella Limited Edition 18'' doll (2012), wearing gown from LE Snow Queen Elsa (2013)

The Belle and the Beast Doll Set has been added to my desktop, joining the other Designer Fairytale dolls that have been released so far. They are not yet fully deboxed, being attached to the backing. To make room for them, D23 Snow White and the Prince have been moved to behind LE 17'' Snow White. Also the cardboard backing for Belle and the Beast are hiding the regular Snow White and the Prince set. Surrounding them are some of my 17'' Limited Edition Disney Store dolls.

All dolls are deboxed, and are all by the Disney Store. The following lists all the dolls in this photo, their heights, their movie (unless it's obvious from the name of the doll), and the year of the doll's release.

1st row

The Little Mermaid Limited Edition Dolls, Prince Eric and Ariel just released by the Disney Store. They are fully deboxed. Eric is standing, supported by his included display stand. He is carrying Ariel in his arms, as she has her arms around his neck. Ariel is asking Eric ''Am I too heavy for you?'' Eric replies, as he struggles to keep his balance, ''No, uh, you're as light as a feather!''

My full collection (without duplicates), of twelve 17'' LE Disney Store Collector Dolls. The 10 Heriones are joined by two Villains. They are:

Top row: Snow White, Tiana, Belle

Middle row: Blonde Rapunzel, Wedding Rapunzel, Celebration Merida, Cinderella

Bottom row: Mother Gothel, Formal Merida, Queen Elinor, Sgt. Calhoun, Lady Tremaine

Group shots of my collection of 17-18'' Limited Edition Disney Store Collector Dolls. Now that the Merida and Queen Elinor Doll Set has just been released (on Nov 13, 2012), that makes a total of 12 different dolls in this line in my collection. I am missing the Alice in Wonderland and Queen of Hearts dolls that were released in late 2011. I don't include the Jack and Sally 18'' dolls since they are resin dolls, and don't consider the Buzz, Woody or Jessie dolls from Toy Story as part of this line. The dolls, in order of their release, are:

Snow White (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, 2009)

Tiana (The Princess and the Frog, 2010)

Belle (Beauty and the Beast, 2010)

Blonde Rapunzel (Tangled, 2011)

Mother Gothel (Tangled, 2011)

Wedding Rapunzel (Tangled Ever After, 2012)

Celebration Merida (Brave, 2012)

Cinderella (Cinderella, 2012)

Lady Tremaine (Cinderella, 2012)

Sergeant Calhoun (Wreck-It Ralph, 2012)

Formal Merida (Brave, 2012)

Queen Elinor (Brave, 2012)

Kristoff in his summer outfit, as seen at the end of the Frozen animated feature film. Included is his mandolin, leather satchel and ice man medallion. He also has faux leather boots with fur trim, a welcome change from the usual molded plastic boots on male Disney Store dolls. He is #1627 of 3500, $119.95.

I got a bunch of newly released Frozen merchandise from the Disney Store today (March 2, 2015). They are the LE 17'' Anna, Elsa and Kristoff dolls, and the Frozen Tsum Tsum. I also picked up the pre-ordered NeverBeast movie. I will show the dolls boxed, during deboxing, and fully deboxed.

Boxed and deboxed Anna, Elsa and Kristoff 17'' Limited Edition dolls, all released on March 3-4, 2015. In this case the two sets of dolls look pretty much identical, since there are no parts of their outfit that are really restricted or hidden in the packaging. However, the deboxed dolls are in more relaxed poses.

I got my spare Limited Edition Frozen Dolls today in mail, on Monday March 16, 2015. I will leave them boxed, except for briefly opening them to take photos and to inspect the dolls and their Certificates of Authenticity. The ones that I got at my local Disney Store on release day, Tuesday March 3, I have already fully deboxed. My spare LE Kristoff has a Cart # of 00040, which means he is #40 of 3500! It is the lowest edition number of any of my LE 17'' dolls, except for the LE 100 Harrods dolls (which are numbered #39 for the Frozen and #32 for the Sleeping Beauty sets).

I've now taken my spare LE Frozen dolls out of the shipping cartons. I show them with their boxes closed, then opened up, and finally side by side with the corresponding deboxed dolls. The spare Anna has almost perfect hair, as opposed to my frizzy haired deboxed Anna. My spare Elsa has a slight crease in the front lid, right in the center of the top edge. She has hair that is not as even or natural looking as my deboxed Elsa. I think the boxed Elsa shows her outfit to better advantage, as the skirt is tacked to be wider than its natural circular, narrower form when it is freed from the packaging. Finally my spare Kristoff has uneven hair on the left side (his right), whereas my Kristoff has much better looking hair. Also, he looks much better outside of the cramped quarters of the box, where the top of his head is almost touching the top of the box, and when the front lid is on, the top of head is cut off from view.

My 2015 LE Frozen doll edition numbers (deboxed and boxed)

Anna (962 and 3656 of 5000)

Elsa (2942 and 932 of 5000)

Kristoff (1627 and 40 of 3500)

With the Harrods LE 100 Anna and Elsa Doll Set just added to my Limited Edition Disney Store 17'' Doll collection, it brings my collection to 17 dolls, not including duplicates. Here they are, posed standing side by side in two rows, supported by their included doll stands. Merida is apparently a couple of inches shorter than her mother Queen Elinor, because Merida is supported by a doll stand that is shorter by 1 1/2'', so Merida is actually sitting down, as she was in the original box pose. The dolls are lined up in order of their release. The first five dolls were released before I started collecting Disney Store dolls, so they were purchased through re-sellers, but mint in box. The more recent dolls were bought at their retail price, when they were originally released.

Top row: Snow White, Tiana, Belle, Mother Gothel, Blonde Rapunzel, Wedding Rapunzel.

Bottom row: Formal Merida, Queen Elinor, Sergeant Calhoun, Prince Eric, Ariel.

Deboxing LE Kristoff. First the front lid is removed, revealing the clear plastic lid underneath. It has a label and minimal decoration on the border similar to that of the outer lid, all printed in white. Then the plastic lid and rear cardboard cover are removed. The remaining cardboard backing is free standing, and has a scene of the frozen Arendelle forming the background behind the doll. Then he is removed from the backing, but still attached to a plastic form and the doll stand.

I got LE Aladdin in person from the Disney Store on the release day (October 13, 2015) for the Aladdin Diamond Edition DVD and Limited Edition Jasmine, Aladdin and Jafar dolls. He is 18 inches tall, and is numbered 2094 of 3500. He has the same construction as the male LE dolls starting from the 2013 Prince Eric doll, with ball jointed elbows, wrists and ankles. He is in his street rat outfit, with a sword and Abu as accessories. He is barefoot and stands flat footed in the box.

Photos only now being uploaded to my Flickr account a year and a half later. I am missing most of the boxed and deboxing photos. I have added a recently taken photo of the Certificate of Authenticity.

A RIPPED BODYBUILDER FLEXING BIG MUSCLES

The nine Limited Edition Disney Princess 17'' Dolls so far released, posed standing on their included display stands. They are in order of their release (except Cinderella was actually released before Formal Merida). Rapunzel and Merida have two dolls each in this series. So seven of the eleven official Disney Princesses have dolls in this series so far.

Top row: Snow White, Tiana, Belle

Middle row: Blonde Rapunzel, Wedding Rapunzel, Celebration Merida

Bottom row: Formal Merida, Cinderella, Ariel

Group photos of my collection of 17-18'' Limited Edition Disney Store Collector Dolls. The series started with Snow White in October 2009, and has continued every year since then, with at least two releases per year. There isn't an official name or definition of this series, which started out as strictly Disney Princess dolls.

So some DS large limited edition dolls are questionable as to their inclusion. They include the 19'' China Girl replica resin doll (which I have, but is not included in this photoset), the Toy Story dolls (none of which I have), or the Jack and Sally resin dolls (also not included in this photoset). Also, I don't have the Alice or Queen of Heart dolls, which are definitely part of this series, although Alice isn't an official Disney Princess.

The dolls in this series in my collection, in order of their release, are:

Snow White (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, 2009)

Tiana (The Princess and the Frog, 2010)

Belle (Beauty and the Beast, 2010)

Blonde Rapunzel (Tangled, 2011)

Mother Gothel (Tangled, 2011)

Wedding Rapunzel (Tangled Ever After, 2012)

Celebration Merida (Brave, 2012)

Cinderella (Cinderella, 2012)

Lady Tremaine (Cinderella, 2012)

Sergeant Calhoun (Wreck-It Ralph, 2012)

Formal Merida (Brave, 2012)

Queen Elinor (Brave, 2012)

Ariel (The Little Mermaid, 2013)

Prince Eric (The Little Mermaid, 2013)

Ursula (The Little Mermaid, 2013)

I promise to show you my latest project of 18 inches couch. So, here it is! It's still natural color here, waiting for a coloring. Today we have a lot of snow in Lithuania and this couch will be a white color. Such winter mood. ♥

My Cinderella 18'' Limited Edition Doll (released October 2012, LE 5000) is now wearing the gown and shoes of my Snow Queen Elsa 17'' doll (released November 2013, LE 2500). I think she looks very nice in this outfit, but doesn't have the same magic as when Elsa is wearing it. She looks more like a high fashion model than a Princess here, so it it would be a good look for a Designer doll. Cinderella also looks a little bare without her necklace. Her headband and hair ornament match very well with her new gown.

It was suggested to me that I swap the outfits of my Cinderella and Snow Queen Elsa 17'' Limited Edition Dolls by the Disney Store. Cinderella is listed at 18'', but that is only when you add the height of her hair.

They both have light blue gowns covered in rhinestones. But Cinderella's dress is a poofy ballgown, whereas Elsa's outfit is a slinky satin dress with a oversized cape attached to the back. They both have crystal ornaments in their hair, which I leave alone. I also leave Cinderella's headband alone. But I will place Cinderella's black beaded necklace on Elsa, and as well as her white jeweled gloves. I will also swap Cinderella's 'glass' slippers with Elsa's blue snowflake high heeled shoes.

Here we show the range of movement of her head. She can turn her head only about 45 degrees to the left and the right. She had very little freedom of movement up or down.

A fellow collector has asked that I post a full series of detailed photos of the Limited Edition Sally Doll, released by the Disney Store in late 2011. She is listed as 18'' high, but actually stands only 14'' high, or 15 1/2'' high on the included display stand. She is made of resin, has rooted hair, a cloth dress and socks, and has pivot joints in her neck, shoulders and hips. She is a very accurate depiction of the animated character from The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993). She comes in a coffin shaped cardboard box, and lies in a styrofoam bed with red satin lining.
