I have been wanting an 18 inch HellBoy and finally got him! I just replaced my Gentle Giant HB that was stolen so now this large HB has a Mini Me! LOL

I REALLLLLY love the little details they added to this HellBoy. All the little good luck charms and all. His smaller gun even opens and has removable bullets! The larger gun, Big Baby, opens but doesn't have ammo you can remove but is still awesome! I was dissappointed that he poses great up top but that the legs don't bend and he can't sit! I was SO wanting him to sit in a chair I had for him. *shrug* He's still super cool and was fun to work with!

I am excited about all the photo experiments I want to do with him.

For this first series, I wanted to use light and shadows to make it look like he was on the move, hunting someone or someTHING down. I tried to use the shadows to make him look more 'heavy', more substantial and to make him look more dangerous- to give you the feeling of being glad he isn't after YOU! LOL

Here is my complete collection of all 17'' Limited Edition dolls produced by Disney for characters from Disney Princess movies, plus Alice in Wonderland, as of November 11, 2015. There are a total of 42 these dolls released dolls so far, including the Harrods versions of Anna, Elsa and Aurora. That is nine more dolls in this collection since the last group photo I did in June of this year. They are ordered roughly by release date, but also related dolls are placed next to each other. So for instance all the Cinderella dolls are together, as are all the Frozen dolls. Also included are the live action Cinderella dolls, which look like they totally belong in this collection. They totally outshine the 2012 animated Cinderella doll, and in a way make up for her deficiencies. Also included is the Disneyland 60th Anniversary Limited Edition Aurora Doll. Coronation Elsa has the orb and scepter props that came with the D23 Expo exclusive Elsa and Hans Doll Set. All the other dolls are as they came in the original box.

Update: Nov 6, 2010 = This painting was accepted to be shown at the Triton Museum's Statewide Watercolor competition. I am thrilled! My name is on their website - how cool is that!

Freida is a Fashion Friend play doll by Ruby Red Galleria.

The dress is made by me from a sewing pattern by Forever 18inch called "The Versatility Dress" (found on pixiefaire.com).

Sometimes I feel the urge to sew for a new doll without having to go through the time consuming process of designing the pattern myself, so I'm very glad we can purchase online sewing patterns for our dolly needs. That dress took about 1 hour to make, so that's good good good.

This is my third "I love books" photo here on flickr.. you can check out my other two photos below.

I have seen this photo before here on flickr, and I really wanted to change it to make it different, so I set my 18inch black lights in a dark room and took this photo. I took the heart fold in photo shop cs3 and made it a neon red heart while keeping the tone from the black light.

Here are all seventeen of the Limited Edition 17 inch (Heirloom) and 12 inch (Designer) dolls produced by Disney Store and Disney Parks for the characters of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, from 2009 to 2017. All the dolls have been completely deboxed. The 17 inch dolls are standing side by side, supported by their included display stands. The Designer dolls have been reposed in their original display stands, without their covers and cardboard backing.

An amazing seven of these dolls (all 17 inch) were released just this year, two at the D23 Expo on July 15, and five online and in stores on August 1-2. The 12 inch Designer dolls are placed at a lower level than the 17 inch dolls. We can see that many of the aspects of the 17 inch dolls (after the original Snow White) were borrowed from Designer dolls.

From left to right, the top row of 17 inch dolls:

Shanghai Disney Resort Grand Opening Snow White LE Doll (2016, #381 of 1200).

Disney Store 'Rags' Snow White LE Doll (2017, #2561 of 6500).

Disney Store Prince LE Doll (2017, #1380 of 3000).

Disney Store Evil Queen LE Doll (2017, #1532 of 4000).

Disney Store Snow White LE Doll (2009, #250 of 5000).

D23 Expo Snow White LE Doll (2017, #106 of 1023).

D23 Expo Hag (Witch) LE Doll (2017, #204 of 723).

Disney Store 'Platinum' Snow White and Prince LE Doll Set (2017, #480 of 650).

DFDC Snow White and the Hag Doll Set (2015, #2595 of 6000).

Shanghai Disney Resort Grand Opening Snow White LE Doll (2016, #381 of 1200).

Disney Store 'Rags' Snow White LE Doll (2017, #2561 of 6500).

Disney Store Prince LE Doll (2017, #1380 of 3000).

Disney Store Evil Queen LE Doll (2017, #1532 of 4000).

Disney Store Snow White LE Doll (2009, #250 of 5000).

D23 Expo Snow White LE Doll (2017, #106 of 1023).

D23 Expo Hag (Witch) LE Doll (2017, #204 of 723).

Disney Store 'Platinum' Snow White and Prince LE Doll Set (2017, #480 of 650).

Snow White's Prince has finally come, after she has waited eight years. Actually two of them have come. The original Disney Store Limited Edition Snow White 17 inch doll (2009, #250 of 5000) welcomes the Prince LE 18 inch doll (2017, #1380 of 3000) and the Platinum Prince LE 18 inch doll (2017, #480 of 650). The LE 3000 Prince has a blue tunic and dark brown cape. The Platinum Prince has a black tunic and crimson cape. The LE 3000 Prince is more movie accurate, but the Platinum Prince is a much more impressive looking doll. I wonder which one Snow White favors.

Complete collection of the Limited Edition Sleeping Beauty 17'' Dolls by the Disney Store and Disney Parks. They are standing side by side, supported by Disney Store display stands (the Disney Parks doll borrowed the stand from LE Summer Anna). They were all purchased first hand by me.

Top row: The LE 5000 Disney Store Pink Aurora, the LE 3500 Prince Phillip, the LE 4000 Disney Store Blue Aurora, and the LE 4000 Disney Store Maleficent, all released in 2014.

Bottom row: The LE 100 Harrods Pink Aurora (2014), the LE 3000 Disneyland 60th Anniversary Aurora (2015), and the LE 100 Harrods Blue Aurora (2014).

With the Harrods LE 100 Anna and Elsa Doll Set just added to my Limited Edition Disney Store 17'' Doll collection, it brings my collection to 17 dolls, not including duplicates. Here they are, posed standing side by side in two rows, supported by their included doll stands. Merida is apparently a couple of inches shorter than her mother Queen Elinor, because Merida is supported by a doll stand that is shorter by 1 1/2'', so Merida is actually sitting down, as she was in the original box pose. The dolls are lined up in order of their release. The first five dolls were released before I started collecting Disney Store dolls, so they were purchased through re-sellers, but mint in box. The more recent dolls were bought at their retail price, when they were originally released.

Top row: Snow White, Tiana, Belle, Mother Gothel, Blonde Rapunzel, Wedding Rapunzel, Celebration Merida, Cinderella, Lady Tremaine.

Bottom row: Formal Merida, Queen Elinor, Sergeant Calhoun, Prince Eric, Ariel, Ursula, Harrods Anna, Harrods Elsa.

Group photos of my collection of 17-18'' Limited Edition Disney Store Collector Dolls. The series started with Snow White in October 2009, and has continued every year since then, with at least two releases per year. There isn't an official name or definition of this series, which started out as strictly Disney Princess dolls.

So some DS large limited edition dolls are questionable as to their inclusion. They include the 19'' China Girl replica resin doll (which I have, but is not included in this photoset), the Toy Story dolls (none of which I have), or the Jack and Sally resin dolls (also not included in this photoset). Also, I don't have the Alice or Queen of Heart dolls, which are definitely part of this series, although Alice isn't an official Disney Princess.

The dolls in this series in my collection, in order of their release, are:

Snow White (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, 2009)

Tiana (The Princess and the Frog, 2010)

Belle (Beauty and the Beast, 2010)

Blonde Rapunzel (Tangled, 2011)

Mother Gothel (Tangled, 2011)

Wedding Rapunzel (Tangled Ever After, 2012)

Celebration Merida (Brave, 2012)

Cinderella (Cinderella, 2012)

Lady Tremaine (Cinderella, 2012)

Sergeant Calhoun (Wreck-It Ralph, 2012)

Formal Merida (Brave, 2012)

Queen Elinor (Brave, 2012)

Ariel (The Little Mermaid, 2013)

Prince Eric (The Little Mermaid, 2013)

Ursula (The Little Mermaid, 2013)

Harrods Anna (Frozen, 2013)

Harrods Elsa (Frozen, 2013)

By Official Disney Store Blogger, Aug 15, 2015 2:03 PM

Introducing the Aladdin and Jafar Limited Edition Dolls inspired by the Disney classic animated feature Aladdin. Available In-Store 10/13 & Online 10/14. $119.95 US $129.95

Jafar – Edition size – 2500

Disney Store is proud to present the Limited Edition Jafar Doll inspired by the scheming villain from the Disney classic animated feature Aladdin. The intricately detailed, beautifully designed doll captures Jafar’s elegant evil in every sumptuous detail. Never one to deny himself any luxury, the greedy sorcerer wears rich robes lavishly adorned with black embroidery, a swirling black cape lined in red, and a high turban adorned with a feather and gleaming red gem. A sculpted Iago perches on Jafar’s shoulder. Jafar wields a metallic gold snake staff set with ominously glowing red gem eyes. With his air of magnificent menace, this Jafar doll is a perfect complement to the Limited Edition Jasmine and Aladdin Dolls, and adds a touch of villainous vibrancy to any collection.

Aladdin – Edition size - 3500

Disney Store is proud to present the Limited Edition Aladdin Doll inspired by the bold, independent spirit of Aladdin from the Disney classic animated feature Aladdin. This handsome doll captures Aladdin’s masculine good looks in every meticulous detail. The daring young hero is dressed to win Jasmine’s heart. Rich, intricate gold metallic embroidery embellishes his belt, vest and pants patches. A soft fez sits at a jaunty angle on Aladdin’s thick wavy hair and he brandishes a metallic scimitar set with red gems that glow like a tiger’s eyes. A sculpted figure of Abu the monkey, Aladdin’s best friend, looks as if he’s about to spring to life to make some mischief. A true “diamond in the rough,” Aladdin’s courage and determination are captured in this doll, making it the perfect companion to the Jasmine Limited Edition Dolls and a treasured addition to any collection.

Winter Belle and Beast LE Dolls (Deboxed) are standing next to the Ballroom Belle and Beast LE Doll Set (Not Yet Deboxed).

The Belle and Beast Doll Set with the front and rear covers removed. The dolls and accessories are attached to the backing and plastic supports.

Detailed photos of my Belle and Beast Limited Edition 17 Inch Doll Set. I got it second hand, after my Disney Store order was cancelled. It looks in perfect condition, and is #107 of 500. There are two Certificates of Authenticity, one for each doll, with the same number.

The box is very similar in construction to the Jasmine and Aladdin Platinum Wedding Doll Set. I love the poses of the dolls in the box, but I will debox them anyway, as is my custom. I need to know how they look freed from the factory restraints, from all angles.
