Laurie, you won't believe this is the same umbrella you bought for me. Looks quite different, doesn't it!

Day 175 - Senna

Ayrton Senna's 1988 mclaren mp4/4

Ayrton Senna’s 1988 McLaren Honda MP4/4 V6 Turbo

Senna’s first year at McLaren and his first world championship title. This car was the last of the monster turbo breed of F1 car. Alan Prost would be Senna’s team mate in 1988 and between them they won all but one race of the year such was the strength of the car and talent of the drivers. The battle was epic and started a trend for Senna v Prost that would last to 1993.

The car itself looks so basic today and there was little in the way of driver safety in the upper neck/head area, to be standing in front of this example of F1 history is really something.

As the Black Cat doesn't have branded vehicles or even allocated spares like it used to in the form of 605-608, quite literally any of Langley Mill's spare buses can make apprearances, from the odd Scania or the Volvos through to the newer generations in the shape of Versas or E200MMCs.

175, currently the newest spare in the fleet, is seen spinning round Darwin Place in Derby having just left the Bus Station with a lengthy run to Mansfield on Black Cat which will take in Ilkeston, Heanor, Eastwood, Kirkby and Sutton during it's two hour trip.

I'm hoping that the new year continues to be as wonderful as last year ended! ...........................Happy 2012!

What a beautiful and warm sunny day we had! We are looking forward to a bit of a heatwave during the course of this week so fingers are crossed that happens!

It was definitely worthy of a nice long walk, this morning!

No. 6 365 ~ 2018 .... Summer Has Arrived! ....

Thanks to everyone who views this photo, adds a note, leaves a comment and of course BIG thanks to anyone who chooses to favourite my photo .... Thanks to you all.

Usei:

1x Base Niveladora, Fortilon

1x Partiu Balada, Vult

1x 175, Star Gazer

1x Speed Dry TC, Nutra Nail

Shelley: why are we talking towards the giant creepy ball of light?

Beth: I really don't know..

Mora: because you are the Daedric Prince slayer, and we're headed to Namira's realm

Beth: but I only killed one, and he was the most pathetic!

Mora: Namira works to destroy an entire race. this is why Hermaeus Mora answered your request

Serana: oh, I'm sure it has nothing to do with wanting to be the only Daedra left standing

M'rissi: does he really stand? she thinks he slithers

Shelley: why does the cat keep howling?

Mora: she's talking to us in Khajiit

Beth: all I hear is "meow meow meow"

loving me new lens.

Thank you Martina for the lovely testimonial! :)

Thanks a lot for all the faves and comments on my pictures!!!

I like having the bed all to myself at night and not being woken by your alarm at 5:30 in the morning, 2 and a half hours before I have to get up, but life is just never the same without you.

I'm in a Knack mood today.
