This time of year, we spend a lot of time in the front yard. Our back yard has privacy & trees, but no grass. The dog prefers the front yard in the evening. He likes to sit in the cool grass & look & smell. His head is held high to catch all the summer aromas. We've had a lot of deer around the house lately. The twins obviously aren't allowed in the unenclosed front yard much, so they enjoy coming out to our little patch of grass. Charlie & Ella will try to play whatever sport they can find. Greta will climb as high as her little body will allow.

However much I turn and stare, there's always someone there. There's room to spare, but I can't share. There's wear and tear in my jaded prayer...I scare and turn away on this darkly winsome long-lost cloudy day. What's left unsaid is my sacred splendid muted right of way.
Eigentlich sollte unsere Reise weiter nach Lake Mc Donald Loge gehen, wegen den starken Waldbränden wurde alles gesperrt, die Lodge musste evakuiert werden und so sind wir in Kalispell gelandet.
Glacier NP unser ursprüngliches Ziel den Logan Pass via «going to the Sun Road» mussten wir leider wegen den Waldbränden streichen.
Lothian 175 has been fitted with brand new screens similar to the ones appearing on the streets of London. The screen to the eye looks more like a blind screen but is actually and LED display.

AEC Reliances were always popular as transporter conversions, more so when 12-metre models became available, giving a bit more space inside for the car and/or accommodation. Alexander Y-type bodies were a rarity though, and this one was rare anyway, being new to an independent operator.
175 FLY was new to Premier Travel, Cambridge as OVE 232J, and was sold for conversion when only 10 years old, to Glyndwr Pursey of Bromham, Beds. His car number was 175, so the registration was possibly the first example of a cherished plate being used on a transporter in this way.
