Dampfspektakel 175 Jahre Deutsche Eisenbahn

This is a picture of my friend taking a picture of the cookies I took in the previous photo, haha.
Anyways, yesterday was fun! I went to my high school's graduation! I can't believe it's been two years since I've graduated. Crazy how time flies. It was really great seeing a ton of people I haven't seen in awhile and seeing some of my younger friends graduate :)
Also, I've been TAGGED to post 5 random things/moments that make you smile:
01. When a friend mentions an inside jokes from many, many years ago that you still remember perfectly.
02. When out of the blue, my boyfriend texts me and tells me that he loves me :)
03. When I'm at a concert and a band plays my favorite song.
04. When a person loves the gift I've just given them.
05. When I discover that somebody likes the same music as me.
Tag, you're it!

ever so sorry for the abundance of Vampire Weekend lyrics as captions, the songs are just to great to not use and sing and dance and love everyday

Pipits are very much a birding zealots' genus. All the members of the family are small, brown, streaky, relatively similar birds - the quintessential little brown job. And they all show a lonbg hind-claw, typical of ground dwelling passerines.
Meadow Pipits can sometime be hard to get close to but when the young have recently fledged they gather in large groups that gather along roadside walls and fences on the moors of northern England. A slow approach in a car with the light coming from the passenger side allows you to get good shots.
Sometimes however a back-lighted effect as in this photo works as well. Although there are thousands of these birds on the moors near Allenheads [England’s highest village] now, these will all have moved towards coastal and low lying farm areas by the start of autumn.
the image isn't exactly what I wanted, but it was my last image in that pack of film and now I am completely out

I had a moment in my day today where I realised how strongly I'm held to the security of my family. No matter all our differences and the lack of understanding between us sometimes I know I would be completely lost if the ribbon that held us together frayed and broke.
Tomorrow is a busy day.. I'm back at work :s
