This house is located on 15th Street in Speedway, Indiana. It is in the oldest section of Speedway which is on the National Register of Historic Places. This house was build by the Hill family who once owned a lumber yard in Speedway, near Main and 10th Street. There was once a cherry orchard on the lot on which this house was built. The Hill family still owns the house about 68 years later, having been built about 1940. In the back is a magnificent garden house as well.
This was the house we originally wanted to buy when we moved to Speedway. It is a beautiful house even 18 years later.

This location sold "Finish Line" fuels up until recently--the only FM that did so from what I could tell. I have no idea what happened to Finish Line, but all their former locations seem to have evaporated. Fiesta Marts were once all Citgos I think, then most became Phillips (except this one), and then all the south end locations became Sinclairs. Oddly, as they build new locations around town, most are Phillips again. Weird.
