Yesterday afternoon we had some very heavy thunderstorms and today .... well, my wife and I set off on our bicycles didn't get too far when the sky turned "black" the thunder started to roar and then it poured!!
Soaked to the skin so I guess we must be back in Scotland!!

140 450 war die einzige Lok dieser Baureihe, welche den "Railion" Schriftzug erhalten hatte. Dies ist auch das einzige mal, daß ich diese Lok erwischt habe. November 2003 bei Althegnenberg.

My cold is mostly gone now, I hope. My head still feels a little congested and my left ear has felt clogged all day :( But I managed to make it into work.
I cruised around through a graveyard later this evening during a beautiful sunset. The graveyard had a pretty cool view of the valley which was the focus of most of my shots. But I noticed this little dude on a tombstone with the sunset behind him and I think it turned out much better than most of my other shots. Hopefully I wasn't being insensitive...

Mort Brown was a chief test pilot for Cessna from 1937-1972. He was responsible for most of Cessna's production flight tests. He personally flew the first hour(s) on over 14,000 airplanes.
