Is it mean to the old camera to use it to take a photo of the new one all dressed up? I couldn't resist the ladybug shutter release button (totally unnecessary!), but I am happy to have a nicer (vegan!) strap handmade in LA, and a filter to protect the lens. And the glass thingy on the back to protect the LCD. Now I just need to shoot. A lot.
"Hmm, what a boring life..."

The 140 Vintage Running Day on 23rd November 2019 commemorated the service of route 140 to Heathrow Airport, with RTs, RMs and Ms running the full route from Heathrow up to Harrow Weald, Bus Garage. Some journeys even continued along the old 140 route to Mill Hill (which is now the 114).
The weather was typically wintry: dark and wet, but nonetheless the day offered the potential for a number of unique photos.
Routemaster RM397 397CLT is seen on Bath Road, Heathrow North heading for Harrow Weald. Behind is London United Volvo B5LH / Wright Gemini 3 VH45271 LF18AXA on route 105, another historic airport connection.
