This bus was new to Lothian Buses as 13 in 2014
Seen here on Broomhouse Road.
The 1 was unable to serve between Corstorphine Village up to the Drumbrae and was instead terminating at South Gyle Broadway. This was due to roadworks closing the road.
I'm feelin' cuddly. I got up early and got ready for my Race for Life, got there and did it in 35 minutes... came home and had a lovely relaxing bath and then cuddled up in my dressing gown and wanted to stay there allllllll dayyyyyy longgggggg.
This is my first attempt at air brushing. Im not sure what I think, obviously it's very OTT... it looks a bit mottled? I'm taking 'Understanding Exposure' & a Photoshop Elements 6 book to France with me, so hopefully on my return I will be a whizz!
In normal times OH does a few hours voluntary work at a local Day Care Centre, that caters, mainly, for young people with additional needs. He hasn't been able to do this for a while, because of restrictions, so today he chatted to them from home, on Zoom.

Nothing better than a nap on a hot summer's day, but I'm not sure about wearing mittens! ;) Happiness is having rescued a cat who is now living the dream! <3

Yet another take on "Eastward, Westward" in former New York Central territory, at Bear Mountain, New York as Amtrak Empire Service train 232 heads towards New York City on the east bank of the Hudson River, while a CSX autorack train is going in the opposite direction on the other side of the river, on the former West Shore Railroad. Visible below the westbound freight is the full-size replica of explorer Henry Hudson's ship, the "Half Moon".
{ Gratitude Day 13 : Nature }
There is such a wonderful array of beauty on this Earth, just waiting to be captured. It is so easy to get completely immersed in nature's glory. I find myself taking most of my shots of flowers... Just trying to tell it's story in the best way that I can.
I love to think of nature as an unlimited broadcasting station, through which God speaks to us every hour, if we will only tune in. -George Washington Carver
I've known Jacki for a long time now. She's been one of the more supportive adults in my life since I've met her. She always seems to have something kind to say and it means a lot. It's something I hope to be able to do later in my life.
For the longest time I was actually very embarrassed to be around her or the family. I was at a house party and some things happened which I'd rather not mention but it ended messily and for the longest time I felt like I couldn't show my face with feeling really guilty. I'd always end up cleaning their kitchen whenever I was over or trying to be helpful in other ways as though I were making up for something. I don't think they ever thought much of it, but it was something that dwelt heavily on me. I'm glad to have a person who can just look past things and still be as kind as she is in my life. Thanks, Jacki!

Sometimes when you're on the street waiting to pass your next stranger you think you are the one who chooses. But most of the time it is they who decide to be portrayed. Andrea is a good example. Also is someone that lend themselves to play. Accept the proposals and proposed. A definite pleasure.
