Ganzia flowers. I've never seen this flower before in my life. It's one of the prelttiest flowers and I wish I'd known about them before. They are native to South Africa, they grow best in full sun and they're often grown as drought resistant ground cover.

oh man, i really can't wait for this week and next to be over. i'll be almost finished all of my exams and will be able to go out for runs and bike rides whenever i fancy and not have to stress about revision or mock exams

I love this tiny little plant which has been growing in my garden and flowers every year, and shoes name has completely escaped me!

today feels like it should now be a holiday.
but its not.
my best friend has gone on holiday to florida, and a few of my friends are going on a school trip to italy on sunday. other than a load of crazy planning for the concert me and my friends are organising at school in 2 weeks time, next week seems a bit pointless.
but there we go :)
ill make the most of it.

well, with summer on the approach and 90 degree weather moistening my skin my first instinct was to jump in a pool. the only problem is they dont open for a few weeks, so i just sprayed my self with water instead :)

Unter ganz viel Schweiß und ehrenamtlichem Einsatz sowie Piko als Sponsor wurde bei 151 129 eine Retrolackierung ermöglicht und umgesetzt, welche drei Zeitepisoden zeigt. Einerseits den letzen Zustand in "verkehrsrot/rosa" mit Railpool-Balken an der Front, verkehrsrot mit DB AG Logo in der Mitte sowie ozeanblau-beige mit Bundesbahnlogo an der anderen Front.
Ende Mai hatte die Hagener Maschine dann ihren ersten Auftritt und ihre erste offizielle Ausfahrt im neuen Kleid. Nach der Präsentation zusammen mit Piko ging es mit einer ersten Übergabe von Hohenlimburg nach Hagen Vorhalle. Am Abzweig Hengstey wartete die Meute gespannt auf -ihre- Lok und trotz der schlechten Wettervorhersage hatte der Sonnengott Erbarmen und schickte für einige Minuten genau im richtigen Moment die Sonne. Was ein Glück und was eine Freude!
Danke an alle für die Idee, den Einsatz und dass uns die Lok noch länger als einen Monat erhalten bleibt, denn bekanntlich ist dann nämlich Schluss mit dem Einsatz der 151er bei DB Cargo. 151 129 hat jedoch noch ein paar Jahre Fristen, schade wäre es. Und wenn alles gut geht, können wir bald ein neues Modell von Piko erwarten.
