So I have a weird thing for dates...and 11 11 11 is a good one and this is tonight's sunset. It also happens to be Veterans Day in the USA. So here is to all my fellow Marines...come home safe, this beautiful country wants you back home. Semper Fi.

Here was the task I gave myself ... 40 minutes to shoot the last 15 frames on this roll of Neopan. I would have to post each image in sequence and I had to finish the roll in 40 minutes.

In questo anno intensissimo mia cara gatta ti ho vista morire e rinascere, ti ho ho spiata mentre dormivi, ti ho sentita piangere perché avevi paura mentre stavi male, ti ho vista tremare dalla gioia alla mia apparizione perché pensavi ti avessimo abbandonata mentre stavamo solo cercando di salvarti per tenerti altro tempo (poco o molto? chissà...) con noi e ti ho ho vista comparire per caso in una foto scattata per sbaglio mentre in quei giorni noi eravamo tristi perché tu non eri a casa nei tuoi soliti posti. Ma quella sera c'eri, eri un disegno perfetto in una foto scattata per caso che poi l'allargavi e diventava solo pavimento. Eri lì, eri un disegno che dice aspettami io torno.
Vorrei dirti che se un giorno non ci sarai più continuerai ad essere dappertutto perché tu hai reso più bella la nostra casa, hai reso più bella la nostra vita, hai reso più bello ciascuno di noi.
E lassù qualcuno lo sa che è così perché sei nata tredici anni dopo un undici marzo cattivo e bastardo che si portò via nell'aldilà un pezzo del mio piccolo grande cuore.
