For the full half hour I waited for last Thursdays return Scarborough Spa Express the sun shone just as it is doing here. I was looking forward to getting a photo of the Black Five with a little sun on the nose. Alas that plan didn't work out.
As a test photo here's one of 185 116 on an empty stock movement between York and Leeds which had been routed via Castleford. This photo is a combination of two that have been stitched together. The reason being that idea was that I wanted to show a wider view including the builders yard to the left of the line.

I made this shot just before my #93 shot. Actually, I thought it was too lighten. But after correcting the picture in DxO and Lightroom, I got this one. I think it's better than the previous one, but I wasn't able to get the Milky Way really well. I think it's because of the city lights...
Anyways, I'm glad I obtained this one.

Sheffield Supertram 116 takes on the curves at Crystal Peaks as it works a Malin Bridge to Halfway blue route service on 18th November 2017.
The new hybrid Volvo/Wright Geminis have now entered squadron service on the 116.
Here's VH29 (LJ15 JZE) at Ashford Hospital.
I think it's fair to say that the award for first hybrid route in Surrey has already gone to the First 71 - which was over half hybrids from my observations today.
