I have a peach tree that grows up the back of the south facing wall of the house and the fruit is all ready now. Roasted peach with brown sugar and maple syrup is a favourite.

Also using this photo for the Macro Monday challenge "In the Mirror". I didn't have a mirror without a frame so had to do as best I could with a framed one, and not as wide an aperture as I would have liked for a better reflection. I would normally use an acrylic sheet. A good challenge though to get you thinking.

I've been getting less views... I think im getting boring...
Back in Chicago for 2025 to capture some of the notable sights of the region before I graduate in just a few short months. Metra BNSF line train 2009 races out of Chicago Union Station at the Roosevelt Rd overpass with F40PH-3 #116 still wearing the classic Metra Blue paint scheme. This unit was pushed onto the train after the rear unit likely lost cab signals, making for a now uncommon classic F40 leader on this line (3/8/25).
I am a bit late with this one. Hand held, and practicing panos. I stitched 3 photos in the online I.C.E program. I have a new computer so it has been a test of my brain power to work out how to do everything again as things have changed a great deal in 8 years since I bought my last computer! Taken on our drive to visit a friend recently. I did not quite have the photo flow in line, so the stitching program has cut off more of the pano I would have liked, however, what a great reminder this challenge has been to practice it more often. It is odd how the program also puts in random bits, like a shadow, so you have to be vigilant in scanning the finished photo and adjust accordingly.
