PACOIMA - At 6:41 PM on January 16, 2021, LAFD responded to 11254 San Fernando Road to find brush burning on both side of the 118 Freeway, totaling approximately one quarter of an acre. Crews quickly extinguished the burning vegetation, which was throwing flames up and over the passing vehicles on the roadway above. There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Poland, the castle in Reszel, built between 1350 and 1401, was owned by Warmia Bishops, as were the castles in Orneta, Lidzbark Warmiński, Jeziorany and Braniewo. It was captured by Polish, Teutonic and Prussian armies. After the third partition of Poland, the castle was transformed into a prison. In 1807, when the castle was approached by Napoleon's army, the prisoners set fire to the building. In 1820, the ruins of the castle were given to an evangelical community. Renovations carried out at the time erased some of its medieval character.

Zamek w Reszlu wybudowany w latach 1350-1401 należał do Biskupów Warmińskich, podobnie jak zamki w Ornecie, Lidzbarku Warmińskim, Jezioranach i Braniewie. Był zdobywany przez wojska polskie, krzyżackie i pruskie. Po trzecim rozbiorze Polski zamek przekształcono w więzienie. W 1807 roku, gdy do zamku zbliżały się wojska napoleońskie więźniowie podpalili zamek. W latach 20-tych XIX wieku riuny zamku przekazano gminie ewangelickiej. Przeprowadzone wtedy remonty zatarły nieco jego średniowieczny charakter.

De 620 074-5 (ex 11674) van SBB - Schweizerische Bundesbahn [CH] rijdt samen met de 11254 op 30-8-2014 met een containertrein door Pratteln heen richting het zuiden.
The Willows, built by John Watson on West Harpeth Road, lost its top floor during a tornado in 1927. It was the home of C.D. Berry for many years. Doug Berry & family live there today.
