The Virginian comes out to play after dark, in the rain. Here it conveniently has paused directly under a yard light while doing the air pressure test on train K043.
It was realy dull when I took this picture 0f Class 52 1035 Western Yeoman grim light with little depth of field and the state of the paintwork does not help it has also had a side swipe which seem's to be painted over with a different shade of blue paint thankfully Yeoman did get a Laira repaint. It was working the 09:30 London Paddington to Penzance. Despite the weather I got to photograph plenty of Western's that day 17 were seen, 1005/7/12/13/21/29/34/35/36/43/45/48/50/56/66/69/72. 15/09/1973.
