La D345.1005, ancora nei vecchi colori FS, traina le bisarche vuote provenienti dal terminal di Chignolo Po, ed è ripresa nelle campagne attorno a Belgioioso.
The D345.1005 in the original FS livery hauls a empty train for car transport from Chignolo Po to Alessandria Smistamento, here passing near Belgioioso.
Primo piano per la doppia di Aln 663(1005+1203)con il servizo regionale 4261 Aosta-Prè S.Dieder,qui in arrivo nella caratteristica fermata di Derby.sullo sfondo si intravede il segnale di protezione caduta massi,una presenza costante su questo tratto di linea di montagna.

Saturation is always a handy tooll to have to fix a photo from dull to quite good. I can't believe these second hand buses are over a year old with Lothian. Here we see Lothian Buses 1005 at Crewe Toll while doing a service 29 to Gorebridge.
This bus was new to First Centrewest as VN37901 in 2010.
Seen here at the new Silverknows terminus and new terminus of the 29. The original terminus on this road, was at the top of the road for the 42.

Als gebürtiger Düsseldorfer hat es mich schon sehr früh in die Ferne gezogen. Frankfurt, München, Wien, Graz und seit 1999 wohnhaft in Jennersdorf, im wunderschönen Südburgenland.

Kurzfilme mit und ohne Kamera - Kodak-Sofortbilder ganz ohne Kamera - Negativstreifen und Dias anders gesehen - PC-Fehler zur kreativen Weiterverarbeitung verwenden - Digitalfotografie und ihre Möglichkeiten mit einem Apple-Computer kombinieren und verfeinern - und bis heute noch vieles mehr entdecken...

Strolling along on the approach to Drylaw here comes former London Volvo B9TL / Wright Eclipse Gemini 2, number 1005 (LXZ 5387) and these second hand vehicles have been allocated new registration plates, presumably to conceal their age!
Not that anyone would think they weren't new with such a shiny finish!
1005 heads East at Maidenhead in the early eve.This place known to us as the pit was were we first started spotting,between 68-71 about a dozen of us could be seen there in the evening after that the numbers tailed off.The large building in the background was Vandervell's who of course were the parent company of Vanwall racing team in the 1950's.lf you go there now l doubt if you can see the railway because of the vegitation and large fence.
Having a run out from Willowholme, Carlisle Bus CMS Cumberland liveried Leyland Olympian / Alexander RL 1005 (F805FAO) is seen circling The Courts in Carlisle. Former Cumberland 1005, SCNW 14245.

At long last, one that isn't 1004, that thing haunts me!!
1005 turns into the A453 slip road on the edge of Clifton having just called at Silverdale with a 23 to Gamston via Clifton, Ruddington and West Bridgford.

I believe this is the building where the self-respooling "cart" used by radio stations for several decades was invented!
Also the coolest surviving "slipcover" facade I know of in the Bloomington-Normal metro area.
