My last Stranger dont liked his picture, so i decided to delete it.
So here is my Stranger Nr:7.
I saw this very interesting person near the cologne cathedral.

The CST-100 Starliner crew capsule is a spacecraft design under construction by Boeing in collaboration with Bigelow Aerospace as their entry for NASA's Commercial Crew Development program.
The capsule was seen in the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility at the Johnson Space Center.
Built in 1975 to support training for the under-development Space Shuttle Program, the SVMF now is more than three times the original size, with expansions in 1986 for future space station training and again in 1992 to handle simultaneous robotic operations with the shuttle’s Canadarm (and later Canadarm2).
Today it houses a working model of the ISS, several prototypes of vehicles, and multiple training areas.

I am now on my last two photos in the 100x project and I thought what better way to close out the exercise than to upload a couple of my favourite shots of my kids.
This is Matthew chilling out at lunch above the rice terraces at Tegalalang, in Bali.
With her quick wit and enchanting smile, Sherry could stop traffic anywhere in the world. Toss in a feather boa, and she can not only stop traffic, but direct it as well. I stopped her in between engagements, and she graciously agreed to allow a few photographs for the 100 Strangers project.
I like this capture the best. The negative space reminds me of Piet Mondrian's work. The opposition of the angles in the negtive space and the friendly tilt of Sherry's smile offset each other. The geometric squares of the background and her soft feather boa converge to make a nice juxtaposition. It's something the Art Director might approve of.
As I near the end of my 100 Strangers project, I find that I am much more apt to instinctively capture nice compositions that I may not see at the time. When I evaluate them later though, it's usually the ones that I took first that captivate me. Not only is the person's facial expression more fresh and engaging, but the composition is more subconciously fascinating as well. Oh, and Sherry is the proud owner of a dachshund that she lavishly dotes on.
Thank you Sherry, for being stranger number ninety-one in my 100 Strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at the flickr group page.

Stuart was sitting at a table outside a lunch kiosk in a small park near Birkenstock University. As I walked past I thought about it, thought about it some more and then doubled back and asked if I might take a picture of him. He agreed right away so I asked him to move over to the wall of the kiosk to get a nice background.
It was quite dark in the shade and I should have set my ISO up a higher but this one came out OK. I tried to get in closer for a tighter crop but the camera just wouldn't focus on him. I'm not sure why, maybe it wasn't happy with the light. I didn't want to fight with it there while he was waiting so I checked the picture I'd taken and was happy with it. So I showed him the picture, explained a bit more about the project, gave him a card and thanked him for his time.
Stuart is studying Human Sciences. I wanted to ask more about what that actually means and whether he gets to dissect real humans but as my camera wasn't co-operating I still don't know.
Oh well! Thanks Stuart, I think this picture captured the sense of style that drew me to you and I hope you agree.
