Yes, I m posting late again today. But not because I have been busy, rather because I decided to have a bit of a lazy day after a busy week. I wandered down to the shops to get a few things and on the way back I noticed Bill's Flame Lily was in flower. So I went a got the camera and wandered back to get a photo.
IN THE FRAME.
Glentworth Hall, Glentworth, Lincolnshire. The Hall was designed by James Paine in 1757 for the fourth Earl of Scarborough.
Plum Blossom
For my 100 Flowers - 2021 Project.
I took a wander in the garden this morning and spotted one single blossom on one of our Plum Trees. Most unusual as we are well into Autumn now.
They usually come into blossom in September!
Si hay algo que le siente bien al eléctrico, es el otoño. Había que aprovechar esos colores y un día nublado, pero extremadamente nítido, para sacar una foto interesante. Y ahí se cuadró, con débiles rayos de sol, asomando entre las nubes, dando brillo a las hojas y realzando la 442.002.
Llevaba tiempo queriendo publicarla, pero el centenario de la línea me ha dado la excusa.

For my 100 Flowers - 2020 Project
'Orange Glow' (Banksia ericifolia)
I had hoped to go to another area to photograph some Banksia plants but current restrictions on moving around, and it looks like they will be tightened and extended in the next few days, meant that I couldn't. This tree is in a nearby street and it hasn't been maintained for some time, making it difficult to get a clear shot of the flowers.
100-011 procedente de Castellón de la Plana y con destino en Madrid-Puerta de Atocha a su paso por los alrededores de Requena.
En abril del 2017 esta unidad fue vinilada con la librea original de la serie para conmemorar así el 25 aniversario de la alta velocidad en España. Estos vinilos estuvieron presentes hasta principios de año si no recuerdo mal, siendo retirados por partes.
En este caso, tras verlo pasar al bajar a Castellón, quisimos esperarlo a la vuelta y ver algo distinto del monótono pantone.
