Another 'reserve shot' to finish - more of a whimper than a celebratory end!
I am cross that I chopped off the chimney, and the verticals were challenging. But I did take this from the (moving) van!
So this is my last shot for the 100 group where my x was mono urban architecture. I really didn't enjoy this as much as previous 100s. I think for all sorts of reasons. A combination of the challenge of getting into UK towns and cities when it wasn't raining or dark, and I wasn't at work! Thank God for our holiday and the various trips to London for work and Cardiff for #1.
I have joined the 2019 100 and have gone for Still Life as my next theme. I will probably regret this as it is another area of photography I don't do - but it can at least be inside and not weather / outside light dependent!

Thank you all my wonderful Flickr friends, for your kind words, visits and faves
I met Hanna on St Giles in Oxford and was delighted that she agreed to be photographed. Hanna is from Germany and is currently a postgraduate student of politics at St Antony's College, Oxford. I learn from Wikipedia that St Anthony's is considered to be centre of excellence for study and research in that field. I thanked Hanna for being part of my 100 Strangers project and wished her well for the future. If you see this photo, Hanna, I hope you like it.

A chance meeting at RAF Coningsby gave me thee opportunity to ask Nick if he would allow me to add his image along with his WW2 Willys Jeep to my project. We chatted about the history of his Jeep and the current armed forces. This picture is no 25 in my 100 strangers project. 100 years of the Bernina Line
It all started a hundred years ago: the Bernina Line. The line has also been a UNESCO World Heritage site since last year. Direct train operations between St.Moritz and Tirano started in 1910. These 61 kilometres of high-altitude engineering wizardry operate against the backdrop of the tallest peaks in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. Indeed, the line is the highest-altitude mountain railway with all-year operation to offer a way to cross the Alps by train.
