Hausen vor Wald is located between the Baar plateau and the Randen mountains. In order to serve this village, the Höllental railroad was not built directly from Döggingen to Hüfingen. However, since May 1988, when the last classical local trains on this section of the line were discontinued, Hausen is no longer served by rail. Therefore, DB 612 142 as RE26380 Neustadt-Villingen has also passed the station without stop. In the far right background, Döggingen village and the still snow-covered slopes of Feldberg, the highest mountain of the Black Forest (1493m), are visible; April 27, 2018.
