(Actually a neck-craning look skywards up the Petronas towers in Kuala Lumpur).
According to a song from Whtiney Housten: "And in that moment of time I will feel, I will feel eternity". Now, here we have one short moment inside St. Peter's Basilica. It may be a photographic approach to bridge past and presence with the captue of movement, with the capture of one single moment in time.
Veel reacties gekregen gehad op mijn 180 cm grote Rotterdam prints voor mijn werkgever. Reden genoeg om nog een keer te gaan. Veel geluk gehad met het mooie laatste licht gisteren.

This was a desired encounter. We were with 3 guides taking good care of us.
As the huge animal came too close, they chased it away with loud shouts.

There was a strong wind blowing and apparently the bird was reluctant to leave the protection it got from hiding behind a shrub, otherwise I would never have been able to get this close. This is a full frame image.

If you've noticed I have been spending a lot of time at the beaches lately here in So. Cal. getting ready to for a trip to Kauai.
I recently purchased a set of Lee graduated filters to see if I will be able to capture the full range of the scene in a single exposure using a grad. Looking forward to trying them out in the Garden Isle. :)
