in my part of the world this is usually the "hardest" month of the year. Grey, dull, cold and not encouraging to go out for a walk. We did it anyway and had a good time around Gut Bustedt, an old manor house in the Hiddenhausen area in East Westphalia.
A favorite bench along the shore of Glacier Park's Pray Lake with Mt. Sinopah in the distance.
There were only a couple other campers here this late in the season. I understand how challenging it can be to break away from your pillow. I fight that battle as well. However, it is pretty special to have beautiful mornings like this to one self.
Thanks for your visit!
Have a wonderful Sunday!
Here's a blooper shot from day 5 of my southwest tour, it is the only time that Wayne turned a light on during one of my exposures, He had picked up my Brinkman 2 million candlepower torch lamp to test it's ability to reflect light. We were getting the lighting setup and he turned it on and shined it around. and said, I really like the color of this lamp and noticed I was exposing. Ooops!! No problems, we went on shooting the rest of the night.
Somehow when we arrived back at the cars later that morning it seemed like it was 4am when really it was 5:00 Then again, this was day 5 of the trip and I was already walking around like a zombie. :/ Who knows where that time went, but it was time well spent I say!!!
Funny thing is, one of the first comments I made to Wayne here on Flickr was about alien abductions. :)
Thank you for taking the time to visit and as always, your views, comments, faves, and support are greatly appreciated!! :) Have a Happy New Year one and all. :)

October waved goodby with sunshine and warm tempereratures and we used the perfect weather for an extended hiking tour on the Wittedindsweg, a crest trail on the Wiehengebirge from Porta Westfalica in the East to the Osnabrück area in the West. Before the sun went down we visited the most interesting spots of the Eastern part of the trail.

The sunny weather on Sunday encouraged us to visit the Windmill of Eilhausen, perfectly restored in Summer and now ready for the public.

Wandering on a countryside road close to home, I found this view of the Mount Lesima, with some clouds, light rays and a flowered tree in the middle of a vivid green field full of yellow flowers ... Why not?
Para mi amigo Jesús por eso de que es su tierra natal.
En el primer comentario hay otras dos fotos del castillo.
A orillas del Esla, en Valencia de don Juan se eleva airoso el castillo de Coyanza, de estructura circular y torreones escalonados .
Not had much chance to get out with my camera lately, but could not resist stopping to take this shot. It was taken with my Sigma 150 - 600mm lens as I didn't have my Nikon 70 - 200 with me. I think the Sigma has done a good job and has given me a good balance of light/depth at f8.0.

Unusually bright and colourful late afternoon in the local woods in what is otherwise the worst, dull, grey and damp month of the year.
