Cham Shan Temple (Ten Thousand Buddas)- The 7 level Asian style building contains precious collections of Buddhist arts and artifacts. Experience the tranquility and spirituality of the temple. A"World Peace Ten Thousand Buddhas Sarira Stupa Temple" has been constructed on 3 acres of land in Niagara Falls in order to facilitate the expounding of Dharma and the propagation of Buddhism. Since the appearances of statues and stupas facilitate the generation of the Bodhi-mind, raising temples could benefit sentient beings in countless multitudes. A long exposure with the Hoya Pro ND32, which I think creates a 'dry ice' effect around the exposed rocks. The sea was pretty rough and I managed to grab my tripod just in time after this shot to avoid a soaking :)

There are no poppies blooming yet this year where I live, but here's one from last Spring for this week's Monochrome Bokeh Thursday.

What a difference a day makes. Last week I posted a picture from nearly the same location (Ox Bow Bend) taken on a day when rain was in the offing. It was a big moody picture. The next day however, the sun was shining brightly with only a few high clouds in the sky, and the Snake River was as quiet and smooth as polished Opal. Whatever your preference, it is hard to dispute the natural beauty of this autumn setting.

I shot this HDR as the grass at the front was bright white with frost and I wanted to show some of the shadow detail inside the shed too. I finished it of in Silver Efex Pro

A lone cormorant indulges in a little meditation as the other water birds prepare for another night on the lake. I took this at Wyndley Pool in Sutton Park, on Christmas Day, at the end of our walk with Zak. I do hope you like it, together with the music I've chosen to accompany my photograph.
